A few notes I liked that they made the parks/jb vs steiner/josh Match into a little skit, really fun match. Deanglo Williams put on the best celebrity performance I have ever seen. I remember him being on sportcenters coverage of WrestleMania 32 so you could tell he really enjoys wrestling. I don't really watch tna so is James storm leaving tna? Does Low Ki always wear a suit? I feel Lashley should've won the main event, but I guess since tna is now called gfw Alberto wins. I hope Lashley goes back to wwe, I always like him. Storm is playing the role of the older veteran wrestler, he'll possibly be going into the Hall of Fame at BFG. Low Ki's been doing the Hitman look for a couple of years now. Thank you, it is honestly a shame I was watching slammiversary matches from the past and only 3 years ago they had such a huge loud crowd and now they have nothing. I hope they can get back on their feet. I used to want tna to end, but they really deserve better.

Well, they had been traveling elsewhere for Slammiversary in previous years, but they held it at the Impact Zone this year. And there's generally a good mix of casuals from Universal in the Impact Zone.

There's never anyone on the hard camera side, they aren't allowed to have fans on that side IIRC. Quite a large amount of fans would've been there if so as many were turned away last night.

I can't believe I'm saying this but overall this PPV was great. It felt important after months of build up and only a few matches fell flat.
The announcers match was hilarious and shades of the broken Hardys
Only true let down for me was El Patreon winning the World Title, tbh feels like he adds nothing to the product and hardly gets a reaction from the crowd as a babyface
All and all, I suggest those who slag IMPACT off at every moment, to give the PPV a watch!

Watching Low Ki vs. Sonjay Dutt for the X-Division Title just reeked of like 2006 TNA. Same with seeing LAX out there, and hearing that theme song.
I thought Slammiversary was good, but it just reminded me how Jeff Jarrett is trying to make TNA look like it was 10 years ago. I actually miss the Billy Corgan/Dixie Carter era. I know it was a different kind of TNA during that time, but it was what TNA had become. Jeff Jarrett is making TNA - or should I say "Global Force Wrestling" - look like the past.

Remember when TNA was putting on shows in places like this: Great show, really. Imagine if 2011 - 2016 never happened and last night's show was in a proper arena filled with crazed fans. So sad.

That is crazy to see. I have only been following TNA for a year or so so this is very different. When was it from? The UK flag suggests it was a U.K. tour?

Not sure about the picture location, but TNA always had a very strong following in the UK, and their UK tours would always sell really well. Unfortunately, due to being broke, they haven't been there in a few years now. The set looks like it was from somewhere between 2010 & 2012.

They did some tapings in the UK in 2010, but they were touring on the road during that time in the States as well in arenas like that one.

Really enjoyed Low Ki vs Sonjay. Great chemistry together, I thought.
Impressed with D'Angelo Williams - he picked it up quickly and nicely!
