So everyone is going mental for this so call Brutus Prototype YET................. So is it legit? I had never seen this the first time it surfaced. I knew I was right and had seen before, yet all the guys in the know on here said it was a Fake/Custom back in 2014   |

In my opinion i think its legit just because of the wear on the figure and the card it looks old and like its been played with and if brutus was scrapped last minute it would make sense that a few prototypes were made on the card and this is how the kid got them which goes with his story the first time it popped up where he says he got sent them by the employee.

I remember seeing it back then, and that many felt it was a custom. I tend to take things at face value but the card is pretty odd. Then someone ended up having a production proof w/the matching assortment # which helps the validity, but then one could argue the custom card was based on that too. I have no idea, but its' cool either way.

If you were going to fake it i would have imagined the sheers would be with him too, which i think helps its authenticity the sheers not being there

Well even if there was a MOC from 3 years ago, you would not have known, as you did not even know about this one from 3 years ago, shows you much you know? So I was wrong about the moc part, I did say that in the opening of the thread I simply remember the figure and backing card and thought it was MOC. If I had said in that thread "wasn't there a Brutus #3 and backing card on here years ago" you would have told me I was wrong. Just be glad I put the hard work in and found the old thread and old photo in my inbox. I also have another prototype photo from the same guy! |
