I've been thinking about it, could you scrap having a world champion and a heavyweight division? It's sounds crazy, but maybe instead replace it with an X Division, Hardcore division, tag team and women's? Each week the main event rotates around a different division? Maybe could be a smart move with Impact small main event roster, your thoughts?

Uh... didn't Ring of Honor do that for years and years and years?? I think Samoa Joe was the only real big heavyweight they had during the time frame when Low Ki, Aries, Bryan, Punk, Gibson and them were champion.

You could run a promotion with just tag teams, just cruiserweights, just heavyweights, just women, just wrestlers with red hair, etc etc... But you'd have to ask yourself what the point of it would be? TNA, as the sort-of second promotion in the US, would be cutting themselves off from a lot of talented wrestlers if they weren't hiring guys over 205lbs or 225lbs or whatever.

I don't think getting rid of the heavyweights entirely is the best idea. They should definitely be demoted to the mid card though. The X Division title should be their top title. If New Japan plays their cards right they could take that spot in a couple years.

Bobby lashley! Well I'll be a son of a bitch it's lashley! Bathturd! I agree with the ROH reference supporting that as long as your story's are good and the guys can put on solid matches; doesn't matter if you company's buoy around 200 pounders or 300. I'd still ie to see at least one or two "imposing figures".

I think of the CWC, if that wasnt a tournament and they were all guys signed to one promotion then I dont see why it couldnt work they whole thing was incredible, personally I dont think it'd make sense to have a cruiserweight title when the whole roster are cruiserweights, I'd go with the standard format of tag titles, mid-card title, and world title.
