In an alternate reality where Sting followed the Warrior to WWF in 1987, what would've happened to the Stinger? Would he and the Warrior have debuted as the Blade Runners? Would they be WWF Tag Team Champions? Which one would've been the more popular one? Would we have a Rockers type heel turn or would the team would have just disappeared as they became singles competitors? Sting as IC champ instead of Warrior? Sting v. Hogan at Mania 6? Would Sting and Warrior fight each other at a Wrestlemania? Sting v. Savage, Perfect, DiBiase, or The Undertaker? Sting V. Flair at Mania 8? Who would've been the face of WCW while this happened? Would Sting just eventually jumpship to WCW or would he be the second most royal to Vince like Taker? Would Warrior and Sting reform the Blade Runners during Warriors brief 92 return? Sting v. Yokozuna at Mania 9 or Sting v. Bret at Mania 9? Luger and Sting rivalry during 1993-94? What a career he could've had. But what do y'all think? Let me know down below!

Sting likely would've been twice the star the WWF made Warrior to be.
Better backstage and a hell of a lot better in the ring.
No way Warrior could have done 45 minutes with Flair.

What a great question.
I think if Sting followed Warrior to WWF in '87 our wrestling landscape would look incredibly different right now.
Don't dismiss Sting so quickly because in '87 he was jacked too. Vince would have gotten two body builders who would be his version of the Road Warriors and we all know Vin did his best to recreate LOD during that time - and he LOVES body builders. Demolition would have taken a back seat, Powers of Pain wouldn't even be a consideration. Sting and Warrior as the Blade Runners had the look Vince would have wanted.
By the start of the 90s I'm sure Vince would then split them in a feud with the newly acquired LOD because he saw the merchandising possibilities - both colourful characters with face paint, which kid back then didn't like that? Thing is, I don't think either would be heels. He'd keep them as faces with Hogan. Turn Savage complete heel for the rest of his WWF career to be the main bad guy. Vince would have had the holy trinity of wrestling at this point.
By the mid 90s I think Hogan would be considered "old guard" and leave for WCW to re-invent his career. Warrior never was a tag team guy, plus he was getting weirder and weirder, so he'd up and leave Vince stranded from time to time. Sting would have become the franchise of WWF. Maybe a career matched to what Undertaker's career eventually became.
Thoughts?

It would have been interesting. Neither would have liked being in the same company I reckon because of their similar gimmicks. I watched a shoot interview with Tatanka once and he claimed Warrior pulled him aside and asked if he would stop wearing the boots or tassels or something because Warrior thought it was infringing on his style lol.

Not being biased as I was a HUGE Tatanka fan, but the dude has nothing, but good things to say about pretty much everyone he ever stepped in the ring with. I believe him.

If Sting & Warrior both went to WWF in '87 then Warrior would have been in WCW by 89 cause there would be nothing for him to do up north. Vince wouldnt have put him in a team with Sting and their looks are just too similar. Vince would have stripped him of the face paint and gave him some cheesy gimmick that would have flopped. Eventually he'd leave to go to WCW to be some meathead.

So one would of been repackaged however just because sting became the better in ring performer doesn't mean that's who vince would of kept. This is the late 80s where size & larger than life characters trumped wrestling ability. I think Sting gets frustrated & without the Flair ironman match showcasing his talent is viewed as just another muscle head & is in wcw by 89

He and Warrior both had body builder like bodies so he would have fit right into the "larger then life" persona....While Sting & Warrior had similar looks they pale in comparison. Sting could talk on the mic & had good ring work. Warrior was sub par at best in both. While both Sting & Warrior had charisma, Sting's had much more longevity then Warriors did. Sting burst on the scene and became the man and helped carry a company, Warrior could never get to that peak.
