What would the purpose of the cell be? Other than being a "cool" thing to add, there's no one to keep out or in. I feel like that's an element missing from cage type matches nowadays. They shouldn't be just a match to cap off a feud but a necessary..element to the storyline. Look at the first HIAC- this kept Triple H and Chyna from interfering and better odds than a standard cage. Then you have Taker and Mankind where the cell really wasn't needed (no one to keep out or keep in). The storyline should play out where a clean decision cannot be made with out some one interfering or getting counted out. Then have a cage match. If that doesn't keep contain the fight, then go to hell in a cell... Sorry I'm venting, I just think these typ of matches have lost their luster and we are desensitized to their value..

Thats my point though. They continue to water down the match. To the point where HIAC is just used as a spectacle to put around the ring. There are no storylines that NEED the cage anymore, its kind of just there. I'm saying what if you had Hardys/Cesaro-Sheamus in a Cage that had no definitive winner and a Ladder match that for some reason had run-ins. Would set up for this HIAC match and it would make people interested in it because its never been done before. At this point, theres nothing more they can offer in a HIAC match as they continue to dilute it every year. Is my idea ridiculous? Absolutely. But if it was announced I'm sure people would tune in just to see it.

Matt Kenlowski likes this comment. So does Jim Cornette.

Nahhhhhh. Have the Revival destroy the Hardys so bad that Matt becomes broken again and Jeff goes back to being in his shadow.
Then give me The Revival v Shesaro in a regular Hell In A Cell.

Why is this idea being associated with Vince Russo? The OP is simply being creative and to be truthful it's something different.

I really didnt mean to be Russo-esque at all but majority of members saw it that way. And to be fair; I'm sure if WWE announced this match, most people would be on board with it and would like i said, look forward to watching it. Isnt that what we all want nowadays? Something different to make us want to tune in to?
