I regret not waiting for certain figures. Some flashbacks can be found for super cheap but after I missed out on elite 16, I was always scared of it happening again This is the same for me and I'm starting to realize it more and more. I used to blind pre-order any name that caught my eye and now I don't pre-order anything unless I see it first with all the re-releases lately. I mean I guess thanks Mattel for the re-releases as it's made me more cautious with my pre-orders and now I'm realizing I can usually save 5-10 bucks a figure if I just wait a few months. Yeah I feel that way too but I only collect flashbacks so I get nervous once I miss out on one then that's it. So I tend to buy them all when they release

I bought Rhyno a few days ago knowing damn well his proportions were ridiculous but I did get a bit of remorse after buying it. I do like it but it could have been WAY better. The new elite Steph I'm avoiding at all costs cause it's looks great but I KNOW I'll regret buying as soon as I walk out the store. I just have NO use for it.

I'd say the CM Punk Macho Man two pack. I don't have it on display as I have other Macho Mans and Punks on display. I regret it but not nearly as much as I regret buying the Marvel Legends Cyclops. Man I hate that I bought that.

Can't say that I have. But you can always return the figure, assuming you haven't already opened it and tossed the packaging.

#JohnCena
Never really desired his figures. Might be because he's saturated many series. I dont like the painted flesh tone on his lower legs and feel like his head scans are more miss than hit. I bought one a few days ago, not sure what series, with the smiling scan thinking it could pass as a flash back Angle...

But even look at the new Macho basic... 2 years ago that would have been an instant pre-order... now I'm so glad I didn't because I already have the RSC elite.

I stopped buying basics and just get the elites. It's easier that way for me lol

When I had a house and my old collection I had a lot of regrets. I had an ebay business and for example I bought a bunch of Eva Maries and damn what waste of money.

Honestly -- so, so many basics. As the line has gone on the gap between Elites and Basics has become enormous in my eyes and at the start of the line I was buying a ton of basics as I got used to how these releases would work.
Also most of the Elite 32 set. I had no interest in it when it came out, got the itch after seeing them at a Wal-Mart late one night and bought pretty much the whole set. Now I'm looking to unload them. Definitely could have been $75 better spent.

I've been faaaaaaaairly picky when it comes to wrestling figures, focusing mostly on the NXT roster (and even then guys after I started watching) and New Generation and Golden Age guys (there have been some odd exceptions of course if I particularly like the character / figure.)
I'm also admittedly 1) cheap and 2) fairly lucky when it comes to scoring deals and 3) pretty diligent about looking for deals. Every Hall of Fame figure I own I got at 40% off or greater thanks to Cartwheel or clearance. I paid $5 and some change for the Harlem Heat wave because of a pricing error at Target, I hit up a bunch of those mall calendar / gift stores right after Christmas when they're blowing stuff out for 70-80% off.
It's a lot easier to like a figure when you don't pay full price for it (not that I haven't on occasion if I'm certain one will be hard to find--AJ Styles for example).
Now SPACE on the other hand, is a bit of an issue but I usually just rotate stuff in and out of display.

Basic Aries.
It was an impulse buy. Had not seen it before that point.

The last DM Steve Austin, I have no use for it.

Yes, I bought a Basic 18 John Cena at a Toys R Us one time and then I went to a Kohls with a $10 off anything coupon and they had the Basic 18 wave in there as well. I didnt want to go through the hassle of returning it so I used the Kohls coupon on something else.

I had a weird double regret once with the elite 16 Nash.
I bought it, but realized I need the money more, so I took it back.
Then I regretted not having it, and was never able to find it again.

Never any single figure, but occasionally I'll see the whole collection in total and go "what are you doing with all of this?" Luckily I have two boys who will be getting it all or I may have quit a long time ago.

Not Mattel related but i bought the TNA Deluxe 2 pack of Beer Money years ago, took them out of the box and all leg joints were loose, ab crunch on Roode was locked in place (any force felt like it'd break), Storm's right arm was loose and the glasses didn't even fit on the figure. Best use i got out of these two were putting the elbow/kneepads on other figures.
