I'd be very happy if this turns out to be true.

Is he done with LU or Season 4 just isn't happening? I'm actually pretty interested in the Johnny Mundo match build stuff so far.
I don't need to see him return to WWE. I have no problem with it but LU feels like such a great place for him and he makes them so much more credible. There is nothing left for Rey to do in WWE and I question why a return is good for either side. Maybe he just wants to retire in WWE, which is totally fine.
I guess there are some random matches to do. Like get the AJ vs Rey match on WWE TV so it's no longer just a youtube showdown. Neville vs Rey, but that's not really something I care about, honestly. Rollins vs Rey would be a great one. This feels like an RVD situation though where he's just going to return and put people over in largely meaningless matches. I think a Rey vs Owens feud could be a ton of fun.

WWE might not really care if he doesn't have a shred of cartilage left on his knees. The guy CRUSHES merch. Always has, always will.

Lmao at people complaining about his knees when he's been perfectly fine wrestling on the indies, AAA & Lucha Underground for the last 2 years đ¤Śđ˝ââď¸ It'd be pretty nice to see Rey end his career in WWE, he'd sell a hell of a lot of merch too.

I'd like to see him come back just to overshadow his last run, it was horrible.

A LOT of the talent were pissed with AAA after they chose to delay the airing of the back-half of S3, and have jumped ship. As for Rey returning to WWE... meh. If he were to do something with Neville in the CW division, it could be fun. Aside from that, I think I'd actually be more interested in the rumor of him going to GFW.

I wouldn't mind one more run before he hangs it up. You know he'll be in the HOF within 5 years.

Why not, between him, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy and Konnor, we can finally find out who will be the first to get the 3rd strike under the wellness policy.

Legit saw him yesterday at an Indy show vs Ricochet. He can still go That's a dream match for sure. You're lucky to see that live.

I won't mind if he came back because his last run wasn't that great and he needs to have a better run.

I can't believe people are suggesting that he joins the Cruiserweights. Come on Rey is a Legend and beyond that division. He was basically Smackdown's John Cena during the RA era and if anything he should be used as a big name draw.

If Rey were to return on RAW or SD, he would have one or two feuds where he puts his opponent over, then disappear into doing nothing. At least with the cruiserweights, he would be prominently featured every week.

Walk into a Smackdown arena in 2006 and you would've seen 90% of kids in Rey masks. I'm not even a Rey fan but I think it would be ridiculous if one of the top faces of the company was demoted to a failing division. I would honestly prefer Rey to return for a final run and have a proper send off because getting booed out of the arena in a match against Barrett was not the way to go.

he suited LU so well of course, but considering how his last run ended and that dreadful royal rumble debacle he deserves a better cap off.
i've been watching mysterio since i was a little boy, insane to think he can still go.

So, that leaves either the CW division or the IC Title for him to go after - or some random feud. Of the three options, I'd rather see Rey, the true king of the cruiserweights, potentially tear the house down with Neville.

He should reform the LWO with Kalisto, Sin Cara, Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado
