What climate do you live in? I've never had this happen and I've owned nearly every Cena there is. I would say that outside of humidity that North Carolina is not the hottest nor coldest place in the US. In fact, most of the winter I can wear a t-shirt and shorts and not be cold. Summers are only unbearable because they are swampy humid. I don't ever have to tax my ac or heat honestly. Your region may just be toxic to that kind of plastic. I agrr that it is worthless to have the bands removable. I have had some stretch and warp out of shape. Wouldn't a paint app be cheaper anyway? I'm in Chicago. If it gets too hot the AC is always on.

I've heard of this problem for years but I have never had it happen to any of my elite cenas. Elite 11 wade I have came that way right out of the box tho. Like losthawk said your best bet is getting the basic for arm swaps.

I have 3 cena figures w the arm bands and they all have torn just like that. my elite kanes shackles recently did the same thing. they broke off at 2 diff places. mind you I dont play w the figures they literally just sit on a shelf.

Do any of you keep your figures displayed with sunlight hitting them? Even if not direct sunlight it can still cause this to happen over time.

That's what happens when you put headbands on your arm

Hrm. That's unfortunate. But yah I've had the neon green Cena and fiddled with his for photos for years and his arm band still seems fine. Sorry 'bout yours though.

This has not happened to any of my John Cena armbands. Is it humid where you live? Get a dehumidifier or turn on the A/C maybe? I don't know what to say.....
I've had every Mattel QC issue/defect except this one....

I've heard about this problem on the forum a few times but my E28 Cena is like new - could be a climate thing?

Weird, that hasn't happened with the Elite Cenas i got. My problem, like Nakamura, is that the bands easily come off
