Man, Mattel really got carried away with these new basics. There's like no articulation and is it me or do they look shorter?

Yea they aren't basics. If you weren't in love with the Hasbro line these may not be for you. Those of us who love Hasbros think these are the great thing since sliced bread.

Ordered a set from blocked.com here in the UK. Prices between £10 and £14 before they sold out. Still have Rock and Austin for £10 each Guys you should really try and support your local retail, these will be available at your local Smyths. It will encourgage Smyths to order future waves if they are being sold. Thanks for that but my local Smyths (also roughly 35 miles away) still don't stock and won't be stocking series 1 let alone waiting for series 2. I spoke to the manager and have checked even week since then announced them. I love the idea of going into a store and buying them like I did with the original hasbros 20+ years ago but I'm not missing out on getting them just to try and "support Smyths" If they decide to stock them I'll still buy a second set though.

Today is the day. Series 2 should be in Walmarts everywhere. I'll be checking mine this evening.

I don't think they hit yet at least not on a large scale or they'd be all over ebay by now.

According to Brickseek, none of my local Walmarts have seen an uptick in retro stock. I think we're still a couple weeks away before these hit widely.

I saw those, but best offers were accepted on them, so it doesn't say what the final prices were. There's a lot of Rock, HHH and Austin in auction at $66 right now.

You would think Mattel would ship them out to every Walmart around the same time.

You would think Mattel would ship them out to every Walmart around the same time. In a perfect world they would do that and make them a 'Retro Price' of 4-5 dollars.
