Are all the announcements finished at SDCC? I haven't seen a thing about Retros. I hope not.

Ordered a set from blocked.com here in the UK. Prices between £10 and £14 before they sold out. Still have Rock and Austin for £10 each Guys you should really try and support your local retail, these will be available at your local Smyths. It will encourgage Smyths to order future waves if they are being sold.

These have been the most anticipated figure releases for me since the Hasbro's came out. My local Smyths (Plymouth) hasn't had a single one of these in yet. I've called them weekly since April and always been told they're hoping to get them in 'next week'. Today, still waiting... I know people will think I should just buy them online but getting them off the shelves was part of the excitement for me, that and the fact they only actually have 3 figures from Series 1 currently available to order online. This is why so many collectors are turning to over priced alternative online retailers. Smyths will then not order more in and the circle continues. In conclusion, I will be patient and continue to support my local toy store, I just hope they support us collectors as well by getting them in at some point.

This is all new to me, I haven't been buying any new figures since the 90's until these "Hasbros" were announced. What I still don't understand is the reasoning for not being able to buy figures online direct from Mattel or a retailer and pay retail price. Were in the age of having everything available online, why not figures?
I really don't buy anything but groceries and toilet paper at a brick and mortar store anymore. I hate having to waste my time running into walmarts to look for these. That's why I'm not going to go out of my way with S2, will only go to the one that I pass every morning. If I can't get them there I'll just spend the extra to get them from the scalpers. It's just not worth the headache.
I would imagine Mattel and retailers miss out on a lot of potential sales just because the customer can't find the stuff.

series one in the uk was a b-tch to find in any shops. I've only ever seen them when i was on a weekend away with the Mrs in the country and they were in some indie toy store. I don't have a "local" Smyths. Plus, even if you do find them in a shop, it won't include Reigns or Owens. So, when the opportunity arose to buy series two from wrestling shop at what I'd consider a fair price (+free postage) I took it. Not sure why I should "support" Smyths when they openly said on Twitter they had no plans to stock this line at all. Why would I wait a few weeks/months on the off chance they may get these in for a quid or so cheaper? Wrestling shop were clear about when they were getting them in, what assortment they got, the exact moment they became available, whilst Smyths' twitter and customer service don't know their arse from their elbow, and have no clue when or even if they'll get them in.
I think I'll go with the online retailer.

I wish these were not Walmart exclusives, so I could by them online. Please Mattel your missing out on sales because I have to get it from scalpers.

They won't be getting in Owens and Reigns, as most of us knew anyway. They will be carrying Series 2, which is great. The date for this is sometime from October. The problem is, this Series is accessible now from other sites for a few quid more.

I popped into my local Smyths today and asked why some Smyths stores are late getting these, they told me only their main store which is also not far from me (one of the main perks of living in a city) gets them in, I guess this main store gets better sales or something hence why they have a wider selection of goods. Its worth asking the staff the next time your in about this.

When did Smyth's confirm they would be stocking Series 2? I got a message back from Smyths today, they confirmed they will definitely be stocking Series 2 of the Retro's. They'll be getting them in during October.

Series 2 won't be back in on another UK action figure website until the end of August 2017. Was supposed to be this week but they've had a set-back for some reason.
EDIT: Just got a message to say they should be back in this week.

3 months after America? In these modern times, wtf? Did you ask if it would be all 6 figures? They've just got back to me on this and said they're "not fully certain yet" on whether it'll be all 6. They said to check back nearer to October to see. From what I've heard the second series is easier to get hold of for suppliers here in the U.K. so I'd be surprised if it wasn't all 6. We'll see.
