I looked at the Elite Vince today in store and I just can't bring myself to like it. The headscan just seems way off to me.

What do you guys think about the E70 Vince? Would you consider it more 80's Vince than 90's Vince (prior to that in ring confrontation with Bret on Raw). I've gone back and forth on getting it. PJ has pics on this page and more on the front page.
All opinions welcome.

I think it’s more 80’s but like the other suited Vince (mail away) it’s grossly too tall.

It's the blue jacket, it reminds me so much of the LJN. I kinda remember Vince, when he did commentary in the 90's, he eventually wore like a black Raw jacket. If I remember correctly, that's what he was wearing when he came out as the owner of WWE (on tv and in storyline).

PJ has pics on this page and more on the front page. All opinions welcome. I would say it works for both 80s and early 90s, pre Raw era. Below are photos of him wearing the jacket when he hosted WWF Superstars with Piper and Savage in 1991. In fact, in the image with Savage in orange, it looks like Vince is wearing dark gray pants like the E70 figure. He also wore the jacket when he hosted with just Piper, and with Piper and Honky in late 1990/early 1991. That may have been his go to jacket at the time since it had the WWF logo embroidered on the jacket. I want to say he wore a black tux more often than not in the early days of RAW.      |

I know it´s accurate for the first Survivor Series, but I really am disappointed Muraco doesn't have the lightning bolt. And great minds think alike, I used 95% of the same parts to make my own custom Muraco, except from the knee down. I gave him Legends Macho Man calves (for the "socks") and the high powder blue boots from the American Made Hogan. Taller than what he used, but the color was spot on. I had originally found an extra pair of DM Flair two tone kneepads for him, but those small pads really don't fit on Lesnar legs, so I ended up going for mid single tone Piper ones. Never got around to painting his wrist tape... I have -100 in painting/sculpting dexterity.  Here he is, flanked by my admittedly too tall Cap'n Lou fixup, and my slightly souped-up Jakks announcer Jesse, two figures I doubt Mattel will ever make, sadly :/ Sorry for the less-than-stellar photo |

UPDATED 12/3 * My Amazon order for the E72 Buddy Murphy was waiting for me on the front porch when we got home. It was the regular version. Like the one I purchased at WalMart today. So once my RSC order arrives I’ll have 2 Red versions and 1 black version. (I was hoping that would have been reverse)  Today’s Walmart purchase   |
