Thanks for that close-up of The Fiend. I had bene looking at mine the other night and something just seemed off. I started to think the paint application was off, like some people reported with the eyes of some of their Elites. Seeing your picture confirms mine has a bad paint job.

I think the only thing off, just a little bit on mine, is the longer top teeth he has. They’re kind of into the mouth instead of being fully visible.

So I put the Hammer’s and E77 Rude’s robes in a delicates bag and washed them with some dark clothes to remove the excess dye from them. Then I let them air dry. I was worried the gold collar on Rude’s might be an issue, but I am happy to report they both came out perfectly. Thanks for posting the pics of Greg Valentine. The figure looks great (except for the skinny legs but nothing you can do about it), However I am disappointed with the robe- the design is terrible IMO and looks nothing like the actual robe he wore (which is actually displayed on the back of the box). It looks like maybe their design budget ran out or something, MDT usually do a great job with the cloth robes- I wonder what what happened here?! The jakks robe looks a lot better IMO although its not completely accurate either.

Yeah the the Jakks robe was better. I think if they used a different (thicker) material it would have been. As for his legs in a perfect world maybe the e20(?) Cody legs would have been better, but I really like the figure and don’t mind the skinny ones. Thanks for that close-up of The Fiend. I can't wait to find those Marvel Legends. ML is a line I have never collected or been a huge fan of, but that packaging calling back to my childhood can't be ignored.

I was hoping to find him as well so I could cancel my Amazon order. So I just canceled the Spider-Man for now.

While not perfect I can now display both versions of Superstar. I still need to remove the stars from the boots.

Updated 8/1 While I wasn’t really a Viscera I thought the figure looked impressive in hand so I picked it up this morning at Target. I also picked up another Rude. He was wearing the robe, but stain wise he was much better than my first. He just has a faint staining on the back of both elbows and his right forearm. Then the one dark stain on the left bicep.

Glad you enjoy the Viscera. This one and his King Mabel figure I think are two of my favorite figures of the last few years. Now I will be disappointed if we don’t get Big Daddy V or the World’s Largest Love Machine in next year’s Summerslam set.

Do you have any robe tying tips? Your Greg Valentine robe looks great the way you tied it, but I can't seem to replicate it. Got his figure today, and hoping to display him with the robe.

Thanks. Just dumb luck on how it came out. And this morning I picked up the Chase Rude and Miss Elizabeth from Walmart. It was a fresh case but no Blassie. And the Rude’s pretty stained

Sadly, if Mattel did make their figures, they would be flying off the shelves despite being one of the worst tag teams in the least popular era of the WWF/E and people here would be complaining about not finding it in stores.
