There’s a few Joes I always buy and Duke is one of them. Although $27 a figure is making it harder to not be more selective. And X-Men if I don’t go all in I always buy Cyclops, Gambit, Nightcrawler and Wolverine. With the X-Men ‘97 I at least want to get the main team. Same. Currently for JOE's I have a Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Tomax, Xamot, Crimson Guard, and Sgt. Slaughter. I would have gotten Shipwreck and Spirit Iron-Knife, but the boxes didn't have windows. Also same with X-Men, I just get the ones I really liked. Especially those from the 90s X-Men cartoon show, and the New X-Men 97 which is basically the same. Cyclops and Gambit are my favorites, but I always pick up a Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Beast, Professor X and Magneto. I am still kicking myself for not buying his last figure because of the price point at Target when it was released. I purchased the Punisher with motorcycle without hesitation but left Professor X because of the same price point. lol

I hated the knee pads on the UE Cody so I removed them and painted his knees. It’s far from perfect, but with my eyesight and the brushes I had to work with it’s fine for me.

UPDATED 5/10* Well, today was the day the Monroe WalMart said they were supposed to be getting another shipment of the UE Piper/Hitman from the warehouse. Of course there was nothing there and when the manager checked their device it said the warehouse delayed it until the end of the month. But I did pick up a second MNW Hogan.

It sucks getting old. Blew out my back trying to wash my ass in the shower. 😂 I hate to say how it happened on Friday because I don’t want to give my wife any ideas of this hobby is killing me and it’s time to stop. But I was reaching for my ML 20th Anniversary Captain America figure off my lower shelf to photograph and that’s when I pinched the nerve in my neck. lol He was in front of the Falcon & Nick Fury on the bottom shelf and I have yet to be able to put him back. lol

Damn that sucks to hear how you got the pinched nerve. I used to get back pain a lot but it doesn’t happen now since I started stretching my ham strings. Are there any natural remedies or physio you can do to help prevent it?
Those piper v hogan pics never get old 😂

Are there any natural remedies or physio you can do to help prevent it? Those piper v hogan pics never get old 😂 Glad you enjoy those pics. Honestly I don’t know. I know back in ‘98 when I first had the surgery on my back they fused L3, L4 & L5 and the doctor said afterwards he couldn’t /wouldn’t send me back to UPS because my back looked like the back of an 80 with arthritis. But I never had any relief because the discs above and below where I had the surgery ruptured. After I was medically maxed 12 month later and insurance stopped paying for PT and I was told I would need surgery again. So I said thank you but no thank you I wasn’t doing surgery again. So I just been living with the daily pain since then. I don’t take anything for the pain because I take enough medication for my blood pressure and diabetes. But about 5 years ago my neck started having issue. And in Nov/Dec of ‘22 around my niece’s wedding was the first time I had the pinched nerve in my neck that made my right arm useless for a few days. (Maybe 7-10 days) everyone wanted me to go to see a doctor, but we all caught Covid from the wedding and by the time I was better from covid a month later my neck felt fine so I didn’t go. And while it’s been acting up since and then Friday was the first time it was as serious as it was in ‘22. So I did tell my wife I do want to at least see someone and see what is going on with my neck and if there’s anything that can be done without surgery. Because I won’t do surgery again. I mean for 26 years I have lived with the constant nerve pain in my right leg. And not being able to sit or lay in one position for more that an hour. And not being able to sleep more than 2-4 hours a night because of it. But the neck is a totally different beast because when the discs in my neck slip every step I take my equilibrium is off and there’s a sharp pain I can’t even describe that gets worse with each step. And it just drains me of my strength and balance. I have fallen more times in the last five years than I ever did in the first fifty years. So I would like to know if there’s anything I can do to help it. The heating pad on my neck has been helping though. Hell I would probably be happy just to get a neck brace to help support it. lol

Those piper v hogan pics never get old 😂 Interesting...Im pretty f*cked up at the moment I might start doing those string stretches.... I always had very bad lower back pain 2-3 times a year every year for 25 years. I’ll never forget 5 years ago I was feeling very fit and stepped into my house from the garden and just fell to the floor because I had a massive shot of pain up to my back. I visited a physio at royal free on London and she told me it’s likely my hamstrings, calves and IT band are all too tight. 15-20 minutes of stretches every other day and I’ve never had any pain since. The endorphin release you get when you can hold a hamstring stretch for the first time is incredible. Get a feel for your body and see what’s tight and start loosening it up 💪

I’m so glad I did, changed my life. You’ve been through a lot and had past surgeries but hopefully you can relieve pain and nerve pinches without the need for more surgery.

Still baffled about the choice to another purple look for Graham, but the figure turned out great. The new arms are perfect for him, and the WWWF title looks amazing.
