Quite the craze. Who else is into these? I must confess they seem to help with my ADHD when I want to sit and think or watch a movie or something. I've become a tad obsessed with buying them to test which one spins the longest. This is my collection... For those who buy them, do you think it's important to buy North American (ie, US) made ones? All of mine are Chinese imports, I think. I don't really care, they work awesomely. I did some research and it seems the best in the world you can buy will spin for like 5 minutes, well my best ones spin for like 4, so. I also like listening to music and seeing if my spinner/s can outlast the current song.

I don't get the appeal of the fidget cube. I got one for myself and I hate it. To me it's like a toy for babies who want to press buttons, but usually aren't allowed to. The fidget spinners feel a little more intricate. Or a lot more. I find it pretty cool that something can spin for so long without electricity.

Got swiss ones on my skateboard. Like having 4 fidget spinners in one!

I guess I don't feel the need to fidget, because I tried one of these in the store and was instantly bored. Like as soon as I picked it up, I was asleep.

My sisters friend works for a company That makes team fidget spinners (NBA,MLB,etc) and she brought me one home. I thought they were beyond stupid but found myself playing with it for the better part of a day. After that though I haven't touched it

Im a 31 year old *very* heavy smoker that quit on 1st March this year and still struggles every day I picked one of these things up as they were stacked by a till in a shop for £2. I would be lost without it now. It keeps me occupied when Im watching a PPV or a movie or something like that. I think they're a fantastic little thing that helps me focus.

Yep, I too quit (vaping) in April, and while I didn't get a fidget spinner till earlier this month, I do feel they're helping with the odd craving. I definitely see the potential in helping smokers, in fact I made that statement almost as soon as I picked one up, even though I did think they were stupid at first. I make the strong predication that fidget spinners are here to stay, even though they will certainly die down a bit, and already have. --- BTW Guys, I was aware that the ball bearings are what make fidget spinners work the way they do. I still think it's cool how they spin though, despite it being no mystery. What I will confess to is that I had no idea that ball bearings could make something spin like this until I heard about fidget spinners.

I worked a 7th grade class last year and I hated them! A lot of students had them and this year we are banning them from our school district, with the exception made for students that are diagnosed with ADHD, or autism, as these fidget spinners may be a part of those students coping kits.
Fidgets are a fad. Just like dabbing, the freeze challenge, and bottle flipping.

I tried one out a few times. Their fun for a minute or two. Not worth it to buy one. Everyone and their brother are practically selling them.

Precision ball bearings. Got swiss ones on my skateboard. Like having 4 fidget spinners in one! Bronson bearings is where its at, had them on my setup and they used to go for ages It's good to see I'm not the only one who puts a lot of thought into ball bearings. I'm into RC trucks and have learned what bearings are good and what sucks, and it pains me when I have customers with kids with the cheap spinners and the bearings in them are making a racket, which isn't good. I've found that a lot of the $5 range are of poor construction, but have ceramic bearings, which are good for a while, but wear out easily, and you can definitely hear the difference when they're about to crap the bed. The good thing is, as others have said, the fad will die out long before the bearings on those do (if it hasn't died out already...at one time, we couldn't keep the things in stock, now we have thousands of them in multiple places on the salesfloor that aren't moving).
