Has someone seen the new arms that Basic figures have? They seems to not have swivel on the biceps. Are these protos or is mattel cutting cost?

They could have incorporated the swivel in the elbow. That is what they did with their basic Justice League line.

This is just awful. I am super concerned for tag teams now, who may not get elites, and are now stuck with crape basics.

Bill has just confirmed the arm articulation has moved from the shoulder to the elbow.

What concerns me more is that this may mean a smaller portion of the arm can be swapped without cracking the torso.

Bill has just confirmed the arm articulation has moved from the shoulder to the elbow. That is the worst decision made ever on the basic line. I didn't mind the pegs being replace. But the articulation moved to the elbow that totally sucks.

I dont understand how the articulation from the shoulder being moved to the elbow? The elbow had articulation. What can it do more now and how is that ok for the shoulder?

Has no one ever bought a NECA, Star Wars Black, or Female Marvel Legend before? The joint is now a compound one. It swivels and pivots from the elbow. It isn't styled the same as the arms before it, not even the pin-less ones. They are 100% a new design and you could tell that before Bill even clarified. The sky must've been falling too hard for people to notice that the forearms were turned different angles in all the pics and not straight up and down.
To clarify my stance, the ankles 100% suck but the elbows were bitching about literally nothing.

Well now the articulation and movement will be at the elbow like the Elite Mankind arms. Is not ok for the shoulder because it will make it more difficult to pose the figures in some sort that before you could. Is like Jakks TTL.

TTL's could only bend at the elbow. They had no side rotation. The Mattel are has the hinge of the old elbow, but added side rotation.
