I won't go through full cards, but just what I would have changed on which event.
Rumble '06 — Would have had Taker return and win the rumble, setting up Taker vs. Angle at Mania. Also Edge over Cena, this way you could have had the triple threat they had at Backlash at Mania instead where Cena can win back his WWE Title.
Rumble '11 — Looking past my dislike of Del Rio, even in 2011 I knew he wasn't going to be anything big, thought for sure at the time it would have made so much more sense for Punk or Barrett winning the rumble, setting up the ultimate conclusion to the Cena vs. Nexus storyline at Mania, in his attempts to keep the WWE Title from the Nexus.
Rumble '12 — Should have been Jericho winning the Rumble, could have given them more time to set up Punk vs. Jericho rather than have some dumb excuse because Punk kicked him from the chamber match. Sheamus didn't do anything between the Rumble and Wrestlemania noteworthy anyways.
Rumble '14 — Should have been Daniel Bryan, huge misstep here by WWE. Couldn't have backfired worse, having Batista booed out of the building and even having the fans turn on perennial babyface Rey Mysterio. I would have had Bryan win the Rumble, Triple H wins the WWE Title from Cena who won at TLC a month earlier instead of Orton, this way at Mania its Bryan vs. Triple H for the WWE Title, Batista vs. Brock, Shield vs. Wyatts, Undertaker vs. Cena.
Rumble '15 — I'd have Seth win the WWE Title at Rumble, Roman wins the Rumble match, Roman vs. Seth at Mania where Roman wins the WWE Title, then Seth turns around during Romans celebration and cashes in MITB immediately winning the title back. Huge heel move and puts Seth over huge, Roman continues to chase the title throughout the year.
Rumble '16 — I'd have Dean turn heel here and align with Triple H winning the rumble and becoming WWE Champion. Roman has to beat Triple H at Fast Lane to get to Dean at Mania and does, Roman vs. Dean at Mania where Roman ends his championship chase and wins the WWE Title.
Rumble '17 — Styles retains over Cena, too many pointless title changes both leading into and happening after Mania: Styles to Cena to Wyatt to Orton to Jinder. Styles should have retained here, save Cena's win over AJ for something more important and where he can benefit for longer than 2 weeks. Cena can still tag with the wifey at Mania, while AJ goes on to defend the WWE Title against Undertaker giving Taker the proper phenomenal final match of his career.

This is the classic board. The RR from the past few years have no business being here. What? This is the Classic board and it happens in every one of these rebooking a PPV threads people start posting about modern era PPV's (ppv's that have happened within last few years) they don't belong on the classic board. If they did then there would be no need for a classics board.

If I were rebooking Rumbles I would change a few matches to the 90 Rumble. The 90 Rumble had no title matches as all the champions were in the Rumble match itself. This is how I would have done it with some added booking for the year:
1 - Bushwakers go over on The Rougeaus Makes sense to keep the crowd in a good mood, have the fan favorite Bushwakers go over to start the show.
2 - Brutus over The Genius via pin Now this will come up later in the night but have Beefer go over here.
3 - Ronnie Garvin over Greg Valentine Keep this as it's the blow off.
4 - Demolition over Haku and Andre for the Tag Titles Hear me out. Yes this title change happened at Mania 6 later in the year but this card needs a title match because it's awful as is. It would also mean more when The Hart Foundation win the titles at Summerslam because the idea of Demolition holding the titles for another long run could be played into the Summerslam match later that year. Plus you need to give the crowd a feel good moment because...
5 - Mr. Perfect wins the Royal Rumble The rumors are the Perfect was slated to win the 1990 Rumble before Hogan had McMahon put a switch to it. Perfect needs the rumble win but you also have to keep the Warrior and Hogan showdown. Having Perfect win the Rumble gives him more credibility as a top heel.
Added Fantasy Booking - Have Mr.Perfect win the Rumble, avenge The Genius lose at Mania 6, Win the IC title after Warrior wins the World title, have Perfect go over at Summerslam. This part is the fantasy part: Mr.Perfect has had an excellent year and is feeling that he has luck on his side. He wants to challenge Warrior at Survivor Series for the World Title. Have Funny Money Jack Tunney come out and tell the world that Perfect has given up his IC title just to get a shot at Warrior. This way when Warrior goes over Perfect, Perfect can go into a feud with the eventual IC champion since he never lost it.

Let's have a go with Royal Rumble 1991. As I said in my last Rumble post, the idea was to build up Mr.Perfect going through the year and he would drop the IC belt just to get his match with Warrior. I'm continuing with that line for this PPV and changing a little bit of history
1 - The Rockers going over Orient Express This is fine. What's not fine is that it was bloody 20 minutes long to start the PPV. Cut out some of the rest holds and trim it down to around 10 minutes and it's a fine match.
2 - Big Boss Man over The Barbarian Keep this as is as the feud with Boss Man and Heenan isn't over here.
3 - Sgt. Slaughter over Hacksaw Jim Duggan The key to this is that after the match have Slaughter lay the Iraq flag over Duggans body. This will get major heat from the fans and the fans will go crazy when Hulk Hogans music hits and he chases off Slaughter
4 - Texas Tornado over Mr.Perfect retaining the IC title. Just like the previous year with building up Perfect, this year is just rotten luck.
5 - The Ultimate Warrior over Earthquake Now Quake had been in a feud with Hogan before and was kept far away from Warrior during Warrior title run. Some feel that Quake should have been fed to Warrior first but the rumor is that Hogan wanted the big man saved for him.
6 - Ted Dibiase and Virgil over Dusty and Dustin They named him Virgil after Dusty, of course they would make Dusty lose. I like the idea as well.Keep it!
7 - Macho King Randy Savage Wins the Royal Rumble A few things happen here. Slaughter needs to screw over Hogan so that they can still keep their match at Wrestlemania 7. On top of that make it a Flag Match. Yes, it's WWF 1991, make it a flag match. Savage winning can put the spotlight on him as the top heel, keep the Warrior-Savage match for Mania 7, change the stipulation as Career VS Title match, keep the entire match the same, put it on last so that the fans go home with Savage and Liz back together. Or if you are into patriotic things, put the flag match on last at Mania 7 have Hogan with the American flag as the last image.
