I'm honestly surprised RSC hasn't started an Exclusive "Legends" line. Unless the popularity truly isn't there for an entire line and would cost both Mattel/Ringside. Same here, like you said unless the costs/total amount of figures just doesn't add up somehow. I know Matty Collector sucked as far as distribution/shipping cost/etc. went but I would totally be down with a RSC Legends subscription service.

Good, I'm tired of hea ring about how hard it is the get Legends. On a related note, how long do you guys think it will take Mattel to completely move away from articulated basics? I assume that by sdcc 2018 we will lose waist rotation and wrist hinges. I dont see why they would. They've made 1 change in basics in 7 years and all it is was to move articulation further down the arm. Nothing has been taken away.

Because nothing was confirmed on it. Just 1 figure didnt have the ankle pivots. Unless I missed it in a video.

I pose figures, but I only collect elites. I wasn't really a fan of basics unless I had to get a head or specific set of arms. However, posing the basics in aerial moves etc makes them useless if they don't have the ankle as well as for those who want to swap arms etc. It's a pretty big change if you ask me.

I don't mind them online but I hate the 5$ shipping tacked on. I know it's not the price of the figure but you do have to factor it in

I think it would be great to offer a legend a month at Toys R us on-line. So many to choose from. Whether you like history, their unique looks etc ... my problem with a lot of the on-line stores (Like toys r us, Walmart target etc ... is they you have to sift through so many things that are not available. Certainly if all available items are in front it would be easier. This is not a Mattel issue a common sense issue for these retail stores to SELL. Yes I would love Legends! Whoooooooooo!

If they were making dope Bret Hart,HBK type guys and not obscure Sgt slaughter attires like they did legends 1 they would def sell

I think they should just continue the current format of including a legend/flashback in the main elite line- especially with first time in the line guys. This format is working well and gives everyone (especially international collectors) the opportunity to purchase these figures due to the main elite line being more widely available. Most flashbacks have been 1 per case which means they are being produced in smaller numbers- most have sold well, with a few exceptions. Online exclusives would result in higher prices due to being produced in limited quantities and the shipping costs involved.

I could see an exclusive legend hitting tru a couple times a year but I doubt we would ever see a true legends line again. Take out the concussion lawsuit wrestlers, the Bagwell-Raven lawsuit, the not so family friendly (Chyna, Sunny, Buff sorta/again for the gigolo thing), the guys with ill feelings (steiners, Pedro) and you aren't left with much in terms of legends that will actually do well.

I want to buy/collect nat wait around and add 1 here and there. flashbacks are hot, no reason not to TRY a 4 fig set again.
