Wasn't really sure were this should go but since it involves Dana I decide to post it here. According to TMZ the boyfriend of Dana Brooke, Dalla McCarver passed away Monday night after choking on food. m.tmz.com/#!article/2017/08/22/dallas-mccarver-dies-bodybuilder-chokes-on-food/ I feel terrible for Dana, can't imagine what that's like to be talking to someone you love one second and then they're gonna the next. My condolences go out to her and this guy's family. |

Choking is very scary because you know you're in trouble and sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. Happened to me a few months back and I was lucky enough to save myself.

That's a real shame. Eerie to think it may have happened while she was on TV last night. Choking is very scary because you know you're in trouble and sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. Happened to me a few months back and I was lucky enough to save myself. Same here, you literally go into a panic mode. It's a crazy feeling. I was choking around last year and luckily my family was there when it happened. They thought my food was just "going down the wrong pipe" and I was seriously gasping for air and the only thing I managed to say was "WATER" my brother tried to fill me up a new cup taking his sweet time and I just grabbed a random cup off the table and chugged whatever I could. I spit up all the water from the 1st drink but that crapsaved my life because I was able to get out what was lodged in my freaking throat. Now I always keep water next to me whenever I eat. Seriously a really scary situation. RIP bro, super tragic. |

Same thing almost killed me a couple years ago. Not fun. I've been there too. I was eating a pulled pork sandwich and a chunk of the pork got stuck in my throat. I never had that "Oh hug, I'm a goner" thought, but it was definitely the most panic I have ever felt in my life. And as to the topic, that is absolutely horrible. I feel bad for Dana and for this guy's entire family. |
