So my guess is everyone here remembers hearing of Radio WWF from 1993 - 1994 era on WWE programming like Raw or Superstars. But did anyone actually ever hear it live?? I am not even sure what radio station or stations it aired on, but I know I didn't get it in my frequency.
Also, was this the same radio show Jim Ross had while being in WCW, and then came to the WWE and brought it with him??
And one more thing, I do remember hearing on Raw in Oct. 93 how Randy Savage was a guest on the show and went off on Hulk Hogan, saying he hated him and he was a prima donna and all this other negative stuff.
But still, I would love to hear some of that stuff even still today, since I missed out on it all back then.

Unfortunately we didn't have Radio WWF here in Philly. I do remember hearing a lot about it though back in the day.If I recall J.R. and Gorilla did commentary on there for SSlam 93,SSeries 93, and Rumble 94. I gotta think they still have the audio to those shows somewhere in their vault.

How could people not know it existed when Vince McMahon would plug it constantly on Superstars or Raw??
He would always say, "this past weekend on Radio WWF, Jim Ross had the (so and so) on and you wouldn't believe what they had to say."
Plus at every PPV, the camera would pan up to Gorilla Monsoon and Jim Ross who were doing the play by play for it and Vince would plug it again on live PPV.

It's simply faded into obscurity that's why not too many people remember it? Kinda like how $9.99 was being pushed to plug the WWE Network constantly throughout RAW and SmackDown. $9.99 will fall into obscurity too

For we pay $12.99 for our WWE Network. I am sure it will go up again in a year too. As for the Radio WWF stuff, my guess is it only hit certain markets for sure in the USA, and I have yet to find anyone who did tape trades with them, or even any links where you can download or stream them on sites. It's too bad, because from what I heard of them stuff, it was pretty open and was mostly 'shoots' about the business on it.

Maybe it was in bigger metropolitan areas

The Jim Ross Atlanta based radio show was the precursor to the Radio WWF but it's hard to say that once Jim was signed to the WWF that he just took his radio show with him. From what I remember, after the falling out of Bill Watts in WCW, Jim Ross was demoted because he was a "Watts guy". Once he was demoted he then started talking more about the WWF on his radio show and at one point had Vince McMahon on as a guest, with WCW as the sponsor. To say this got heat is an understatement. Eventually Ross signed with the WWF and eventually pitched the idea to McMahon about having Radio WWF. The only notable things to come from Radio WWF was the Randy Savage interview, which Ross went on the record to say that the interview was Vince McMahon's idea, that he and Savage had little to no in put on it. Ross would at times take shots at Jesse Ventura, who he had a real life beef with from there WCW days. Jim Ross also took shots at Dusty Rhodes' weight at a time or two. Eventually Ross was removed from Radio WWF when his contract was close to being over and Vince McMahon started doing Radio WWF. Tammy Sytch would also do Radio WWF around this time, she was in Smokey Mountain who had a working agreement with the WWF. This was way before she signed with the WWF to be Sunny.
That is all I can remember. I never personally heard Radio WWF so everything here is mainly from the Observer and various shoots from over the years (Vince taking over was from a Raven shoot, Tammy Sytch info from Jim Cornette shoot).
