Wanted to know what you collectors here use to safely mount/hang carded figures on your wall. And what are things you shouldn't use for this?

I think the safest thing you could do is buy some peg board and pegs.
A cheaper alternative if small hooks. 3M makes some, they have a hook on one side and on the other side they have adhesive. The down side of the 3m hooks is when you take the hook off it will take a chunk of paint off the wall.

At some point I plan to do this, specifically with my figures in RSC's Defender Cases, and I'm looking into getting a grid wall you would see at flea markets and bazaars where they have clothes hanging from it and get some small hook to just hold 1 figure each. Just a thought right now though.

I'd have the figures in protective cases, if you aren't already planning on doing this anyway, and pin/ stand these on the wall/ shelves.

I usually put the MOC in the RSC figure defender and use regular flat metal thumb tacks and I use cork board so I don't put excessive amounts of holes in the wall

I don't have very many figures hanging now, as I use a shelving system. However for the ones I do hang, I use the small clear command 3m hooks. If u apply them correctly and take your time if/when u want to remove them they won't remove any paint.

I use push pins. Have been using them for years. Never had a problem.
