Thanks heaps for the comparison pics!
Think I'll stay with the ESR I have.

Is there a way you could cut a red square Lego into 4 and prop up the corners that way? It would kill the led feature but ya I think you could gimmick something in there to lift it up and keep it tight. Red Lego or something is genius. Good one

Not sure how I feel about this ring. It appears to be the perfect size but looks like a basic ring. Legends Goldberg needs to go up for preorder soon.

LOL at his grey lips. Looks like he's been eating a powdered donut.
On a side note, I thought this set was supposed to come with those sweet chairs? That was literally the only reason I wanted to buy it. I was going to probably sell Goldberg and the ring...

That was literally the only reason I wanted to buy it. I was going to probably sell Goldberg and the ring... Ya Mattel is terrible now with painting facial hair all over the mouth and lips Here's the chairs It also came with the ring post flight stands which are weak. They only support the smallest lightest figures with that tiny foot peg. They should've made it with clips on both sides so you could clip the figure in at the waist or thigh

I just can't get over that low top rope, kills the whole thing for me. ESR/ASR is still far superior. Swing and a miss on this one MDT.

I'm not going to get this ring to begin with, but the sizing looks nice. I'm not a fan of gimmicks which is where this ring lies, the cheap lighting features, exposed lighting button etc... I didn't understand the rope height thing until I looked carefully and quite honestly for the price point and name you'd think Mattel would get it right. The plastic turnbuckles are also a major downgrade from the removable ones we've gotten in the past. As for the Goldberg figure, it's not disappointing in a way where I had high expectations, but upon further inspection something looks off about the likeness. I think from eyes up it looks him, but from the nose down it looks like a generic mma fighter with a overdone goatee. For a simplistic figure it would of been nice to have glossed boots as well. I'm hoping the the actual release of a Goldberg figure will have a unique body mold at the very least have a new headscan. After one year and some change it would be a crime for them to reuse the triple h mold for Goldberg.

I think the ring looks great personally... except the posts being so short. If they scaled those right, I'd get it. As of now though I'd rather just look at everyone else's pics of it.

If there's 1 things I would like to see added to the elite rings it's spring action to give a bit of realism to when the superstars hit the mat, I think it would take a bit of that horrid plastic on plastic noise

Wow the top rope doesn't even come up to Nash's waist! Who sized this ring?!?! This is a joke. I really want the Goldberg but I'm not going to have $100 STOLEN from me over this terrible ring.

Ring looks pretty... But not $100 dollars pretty. I have too much ASR stuff to justify switching.
I'll still hunt down that Goldberg though.

Goldberg's ing lips are the same color as his beard. I'm so tired of Mattel doing that!!! What a ing joke they're becoming.

Like I stated in the other ring topic, the low rope design was probabaly decided for access and playability for kids. $100 price point? My kid will get the $20 ring. I think its just a mistake on Mattels design. If you can and it's cheap enough, get the ASR. Honestly it should be a lot cheaper and lasts a lot longer than them spring rings

RSC has a RAW ASR for like 34$ after code. to be fair, the ASR is superior to this ring in every single way except for the actual size of it.

Don't care what anyone says...that Goldberg is awesome. Really?! Exactly what is "awesome" about it? The thing looks nothing like him and has the proportions of a grey alien... not Goldberg. He appears to have the sad looking, "concerned father" eyebrows that old BCA Jakks Stone Cold figures had as well. Maybe Mattel is basing this figure on Goldbeg's reaction after seeing this very headsculpt. Pass the big guy some Kleenex.
