WWE has lost its f***ing mind. This is insane. A Barbie based on one of the most lewd, exploitive acts of the attitude era? STAAAAAPH. legit question, do you get this upset with Stone Cold, who beat his wife, figures or made? Or if anyone that has had a leaked tape/video come out? Would you not buy a Miss Jackie figure, who went topless at a PPV? I mean legit if we're going to banish people from having figures for making piss poor choices, we might as well just cancel toy lines.

Let me clarify, and explain what I meant from the beginning even though it's already been redacted because of the 1/1 nature of the product. The doll line was started, and we got a whole panel about it at SDCC, to promote these woman as strong role models to young girls. Every one of the women portrayed in the line are PG era stars, and save for a few Bella nip slips and a gross topless photo of Charlotte, nobody has any dirt on these girls. Chyna will never get a figure, be in a video game, or probably ever be in the Hall Of Fame as long as the PG era is in tact, because of her post WWE porn career, which was nothing worse than what we saw Paige do. The same goes for Sunny. Then marketing a doll to young girls (which I now know they are not) of Mae Young, who did have an amazing career of from the WWE but is only known to current audiences BECAUSE of all the (awesome) raunchy, non PC stuff she did in the Attitude Era, is insanely hypocritical. That was the point I was making.

This is unacceptable that this is not ring produced. I would actually, gladly, pay $100 or even $150 for this. If this were an exclusive, Id get it.
Dear Mattel...I want this now!

Is that a $50 Barbie or something? We can't even get a cloth shirt or painted zippers on plastic accessories on most of our Elites but the Mae Young barbie is loaded with cloth goods and multiple painted accessories. Lol go figure. EDIT: I missed the "one-of-a-kind" part lol. Duh. Mattel always makes one off Barbies of Celebrities. Oprah and Nicki Minaj got Barbies made of them. Nicki Minaj's one was auctioned off for charity

Imagine the the controversy if it had been the Fabulous Moolah Classic... certainly not a role model for young ladies or anybody really.

WWE has lost its f***ing mind. This is insane. A Barbie based on one of the most lewd, exploitive acts of the attitude era? STAAAAAPH. I had Teenager figures that beat up aliens, I had figures of the crypt keeper, beetlejuice, Aliens, Predator, and I later had Spawn figures and other "creepy" McFarlane toys such as The Thing and Leatherface. The 90's was full of "weird and lewd" toys. Whats the difference? Kids today are tech savy and most don't care about toys. You can't hide things from kids today with Google, it takes 5 seconds to retrieve a full background on any famous person past or present.

Can someone explain to me why 3 of these replies have to do with the thread topic yet 25 replies are y'all arguing. Can we maybe, I donno, grow up and talk about the doll itself? Maybe if we could be more productive we could see this awesome piece released as an SDCC exclusive or something.
Mattel, it's an utter waste to make "one of a kind" things. I'm really disappointed that things like this happen. It's not fair to true collectors who have spent time and money on your product. I have bought all the released Superstar dolls so far, so I find this as a slap in the face.

To pretend she isn't most famous for going topless at the Royal Rumble and giving birth to a hand is to be willfully ignorant. Sorry man, can't let that one slide. To reduce someone with such a long & distinguished career to some stupid crap WWE had her do almost two decades ago that I hadn't even thought about for a long, long time is both ridiculous & totally disrespectful. She's most famous for showing a prosthetic chest on TV once? No, that's not even slightly true. How long have you been a wrestling fan? I'd be more than happy for young girls to look up to someone tough as nails like Moolah or Mae than half the vacuous materialistic twits on Total Divas. Your own hero Sasha Banks would have some choice words to say to you for your callous remarks. That said, I think the doll looks awesome.

Your own hero Sasha Banks would have some choice words to say to you for your callous remarks. That said, I think the doll looks awesome. Me-ow! That Sasha Banks hero dig was needlessly condescending. I've a fan of women's wrestling since 1995 at the age of 7 or 8, when Alundra Blayze and Bull Nakano were feuding. I've seen pretty much everything the WWE has produced as far as the women go, and my first introduction to Mae Young was in 1999. Her wikipedia page stops giving details about her pre-WWE career at 1974, when she won the NWA Women's Title, and when 43 years olds were just being born. Are you in your 50's? If so you'll have to forgive this whipper snapper who has only been a fan for 22 years. If it weren't for her run in WWE, taking awesome bumps an old lady never should, doing outrageous things and regularly stripping or being stripped down by her opponents, most modern fans wouldn't know or care who she was. I hear about Diamond Lil, Judy Grable and Mildred Burke all the time, but The Dudley Boys never put any of them through a table so they don't get as many bad ass points as Mae Young does. Is that so hard to admit?

Mods please lock this thread. The posts literally have nothing to do with the subject. Obviously the WWE Superstars doll line cannot be discussed in a mature manner on here.

Must have missed it when Mae turned back time and made herself young again during the attitude era. To pretend she isn't most famous for going topless at the Royal Rumble and giving birth to a hand is to be willfully ignorant. Edit: Just noticed its 1/1 and wont be for sale. Much of my disgust was marketing Mae to little girls, so its not as bad now. Are you disgusted at marketing Goldust to boys?
