If you haven't read the NEW Official Independents Thread, please read that. Also, I said on that thread that I would be making a thread for promotions around the world. We do have a thread for the Mexican promotions (Lucha Libre thread), and for the Japanese promotions (Puroresu), so I would exclude those promotions from this thread. All other international promotions go here. Enjoy.

Been starting to watch Progress (Now that I have money to burn), And my god i had no idea Travis Banks was That Good, in WCPW I thought he was decent, But that intensity he has is fantastic. Jack Sexsmith is Becoming one of my favourites, Zack Gibson as well but mostly on how much heat he gets. Of course Dunne, Bate, Seven, Mandrews, Jimmy Havoc they're always great.

Finishing up Chapter 58. Been getting into Progress lately, and I'm really digging Timothy Thatcher and Travis Banks.

I'm really enjoying WOS. What does everyone else think?
I'm really hoping for two things:
1. They invest in lots of backstage/out-of-the-ring footage ala Lucha Underground. They could really make a great soap opera out of it.
2. They make Will Ospreay a real focal point of the show. He's arguably their most recognisable name on the roster with Grado, DH Smith, Viper and Doug Williams.
The ratings have, apparently, been really good so I see ITV renewing this for series 2.
So, yeah, what does everyone reckon to the new WOS?

The camera angles are shocking, the audience reactions are awfully cringey but I’m pleased that local stars are getting to showcase their abilities!
Think I’ll stick to watching live UK shows though!

3 episodes have aired so far.
Thoughts on the show?

I was excited for it before it started, but three episodes in and I've already lost interest. I don't care for most of the roster, the camera work is atrocious, and it just feels like a caricature of professional wrestling, rather than a pro wrestling show. I know it's light entertainment, but I expected more from it.

It's a breath of fresh air in my opinion. Need something different to the norm. There's been some good little angles like Barrett trying to make Grado the corporate employee and the 'money in the bank' angle was a nice swerve. Keep it coming, enjoying it.

I caught some of the matches that happened at ICW's Shug's Hoose Party 5. I'm not sure how I like DCT winning the World Title. I felt strange with Stevie Boy winning the title, but I grew into liking it. Plus he's got Kay Lee Ray on his side, who I'm a fan of, so that was fine. DCT was a bit of a joke character for the longest time for me. I did enjoy the wedding angle he had with Viper/Piper Niven years ago, but it's gonna be hard for me to buy him as a World Champion. Then again, he might lose it sooner than not, cause I don't see him main eventing Fear and Loathing XI against Lionheart. Ever since his feud with Joe Hendry, I've been a Lionheart mark. I wish he would become a member of the NXT UK roster, that guy could be one of the top guys there, but he's involved with World of Sport, so maybe one day he makes it there. His feud with Jackie Polo was great. He lost to Jackie Polo at Barramania, then went on a hiatus where he would do nothing but drink at the Garage (the venue the ICW tapings are at), while Jackie Polo started doing a JBL type gimmick called Just Justice Jackie Polo. Then one night, Sha Samuels slapped some sense into Lionheart about being a fanny, so Lionheart comes out, rock bottoms Jackie Polo, and signs the contract for the rematch/trilogy at Shug Hoose Party. Grado also came back to ICW, back as a babyface after he was a heel by joining Red Lightning's Rudo Promotions stable before losing a loser leaves ICW match against Sha Samuels.

I'm liking the storyline he's doing with Mark Dallas. Dallas basically becoming what he once rebelled against.

McIntyre, Dar, Black, Wolfgang, Tucker, Dunne, Cross, Cabana too (at 1 point.) Plus Grado and Hendry in Impact. And BT Gunn, Stevie Boy, Kay Lee Ray in WOS! Any others I'm missing?
