I hate waking up to read news like this. Heenan was the greatest heel commentator of all time. His one-liners were gold. Seems like he lived a wonderful life. RIP Brain.

I keep checking hoping his account was hacked. However I know he was scheduled for a local event here and cancelled due to health reasons.

R.I.P. to one of the greatest personalities in professional wrestling history. A legend in every sense of the word. We'll miss you, Brain.

Horrible news. The only good thing that comes of this is that he's finally free of pain.
RIP Legend.

This is a real kick to the stomach. One of the greatest managers and color commentators and one of the best and most beloved WWE personalities. No one will ever replace the chemistry and greatness of Monsoon and Heenan. Rest in peace and thanks for all the years of laughs and entertainment Bobby.

The greatest heel of the golden era. Above Piper, Savage, DiBiase. No one could draw heat better. He will be missed.

The news broke shortly after I got in from work. Sad news. It's extremely cruel and frustrating that throat cancer took away his biggest asset in life: his ability to talk. I was doubled over watching his Hall Of Fame induction.
RIP Brain. There was never anyone any better.

I'm absolutely gutted.
Thank you Bobby for years of entertainment that will last forever. For my money the greatest manager of all time. Long live the Brain.

This one hits hard ![:(](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/sad.gif) Bobby was the greatest personality in wrestling history (in my opinion), and brought me so much entertainment through the years (even to this day I watch classic wrestling and he always makes me LOL). A sad loss for the wrestling world today as there will never be another Bobby Heenan. RIP Bobby

The Raiders had just won their game and I was quite happy then I received a text from @heroesandmartyrs with this news and my happiness turned to complete sadness in the blink of an eye. He will be truly missed.

Reported via Flair, Meltzer and a few others.
The best ever. All that needs to be said. Post some favorite moments, memories. There will never be another Bobby Hennan. Rest in peace.

Damn.... this is so bittersweet. It's sad to see him pass away, but I know he was in so much pain over the past 10 years or so that this is probably a blessing for Bobby and his family.
Rest In Peace, Brain. You were the greatest manager to ever step foot inside a wrestling ring.

I always hate finding out news like this, it always seems so sudden and even though somewhere in your heart you knew it was coming, you're still never prepared for it.
Guy was just irreplaceable as a manager, announcer, and all around, entertainer.
RIP Brain

Horrible to hear these news. RIP Brain. You can now reunite with Gorilla Monsoon. The wrestling heavens gained a phenomenal commentary team
