Honestly at first I was on board for a modern ring like this and Goldberg being a bonus but the ropes are ridiculous

I don't have a dog in this race, but I'm pretty sure this entire thread IS an argument against your position... Saying "No argument" doesn't magically make all the facts (ropes are too short for some tastes) go away. It's like the weirdos who hear a real news story they disagree with and say "fake news". Saying "blue is red" doesn't make it magically true... Just some friendly advice. But it is awesome that you're happy with your purchase. I'll for sure be picking it up once it hits Big Lots in 2019. For $30. Do you own the ring ? It's way better than the ASR imo. Unless you're using this thing strictly for display , that rope thing makes no difference. I love his ring and it's only second to the Jakks Hardcore Ring imo. Nah, I haven't seen the thing first hand. Actually, I haven't gotten around to picking an ASR ring yet either, as I've been content with the RSR and Mattel's Ring. I'm going to break down here soon and pick up an NXT ASR though, and I fully plan on picking up this one at some point. It'll be interesting to see if they fix this with the eventual Smackdown/Wrestlemania Main Event Ring. And again, $100 is a lot to pay for this sort of thing, so I'm really happy that plenty of you feel like you got your money's worth.

I recall seeing someone mentioning putting Legos under the posts to make it taller. However I honestly love the ring. I feel like the bottom rope problem is a lot more noticable in pictures. In real life, when using it, the height of the ropes get lost on me because of all the other great things going on with the ring. I especially love the swivel desk chairs and the plastic mounts that allow you to pose the figures in air. The ropes seem fine in person. But I'm also the 2000's hit song from the band Killers 😌

I've seen some pics taken by other members. I agree, the ropes are very low. It looks like they barely come up to Goldberg's waist. I don't think I'll be buying it. I debated for ages but I think I'll pass. Anyone know how the old Monster Ring (aka LJN ring) looks up against the Mattel figures? LOL The Monster Ring was one of the worst rings ever. That thing won't match up with nothing but a toddler.

Wait a sec... is that button on the ringpost exposed? Also, are there any details missing on the solid red part of the ringposts? I ask because there feels like something else is off. The only thing I like about this ring is the size tbh.

has any one took the old ropes off the smaller turnbuckles ?THEN added ropes on top of the old mini turn buckles and added a set of the ringside extra turnbuckepads to try and highten the ropes that way??? ie. basically the existing turnbucle smawitched between the secondary rurnbucle cover would raid each rope by a decent amount all i got to fix it fr

Scale used to matter very much in this line and it was what actually drew me in to begin with. I'll take a slightly larger ESR/ASR any time. Attention to details is the key and it's no secret that even with the figures that has been slipping for a while now. This is a huge mistake to make on something that costs this much. I hope it gets corrected in future releases or somebody comes up with a decent way to fix it.
