Do retro heads fit on basics/elites? I'm thinking about buying a series 3 Goldberg when it's released and putting it on a HHH body. Cheaper than buying ring.

I imagine they don't, but if it did it would look awful since the retros are more cartoony.
just wait for oldschool goldberg and paint the beard white.

They are built exactly the same. Interchangeable on all 3 styles.

I didn't know it was a question of scale, I thought it was a question of "fitting"... but I get what you mean. I think some can cross over, but most are just a tiny bit small, yes. |

How do you swap the head off a retro or old WWF Hasbro figure? Do you boil water like a Mattel or is there another technique?

Well, with the old Hasbro guys, you might need to boil in water to soften then wedge with a blade JUST enough to get the heads in and out. I swear those old Hasbro's were made solid. I'd break a torso into 4 pieces before pulling the halves apart sometimes. |

For those who are curious, I'm doing a custom. Since 90% of the earth is covered by water and Series 1 figures, I'm using a Warrior. I'll use a Dremel tool to smooth the calves out, but here's the start of my Edge. It was originally a lazy Warrior variant that I started. Only thing is with these two, the skin tones are a shade off. No biggie. I also want to do a Pillman on a Triple H jumper. I use decals and all.
