Flashbacks will be back, they just got terribly behind on the main roster, NXT, and the addition of the cruiserweights. Lot of change of attires with the brand split. I think they just got very behind and are gonna use the next 4-6 sets to catch up. If you only collect flashbacks that does suck and I get it, but their bread and butter is def the current product so getting that far behind doesn't help matters. I think they will get your flashbacks out to you in the other supplemental sets. I mean seriously think of all the new talent, and changes in character in the past year that we haven't gotten in elite sets yet, just off the top of my head it's like 20-30 figures. The cruiserweights, Jinder, Roode, Santity, Ember Moon, Aleister Black, Evil Neville, Usos, Charlotte, Naomi, Mickie James, Hardys, The Bar, Aiden English, Tye Dillinger, DIY, Authors of Pain, TM-61, Roderick Strong, I could go on and on, but in the last year things have changed quite a bit and gotta get that stuff out.

Bray changed his look a decent amount though, with the dreads, coat, and pants I saw a lot of people on here asking for an updated Bray and you will have a Cena every couple of sets, well because it's Cena. |

I'm finding the lack of flashbacks in the last Two waves of Elite figures to be very disconcerting.
I can only hope that there will be a full series of flashbacks coming soon, perhaps E55 or E56.

Disappointed that there's no flashback, but it is what is. Other than Cena and maybe Charlotte (depending how she looks and / or what accessory she got), i would get the rest of the set. Gotta replace the Wyatt i have and would like updated Usos. Rich Swann is a must get since its his first. Sad he's not avaliable to preorder alone. I honestly wouldnt mind preordering the whole series to get Swann. I got little cousins who like Cena so it could be an early Christmas gift lol

I think Mattel should hold off on doing any flashbacks for awhile as sadly it's usually the flashbacks that warm shelf pegs these days as a shipping receiving manager at my local Toys R Us nothing but flashbacks and Spotlight Vince, HHH, Ringmaster Austin, SummerSlam elite Mankind, are clogging up our store shelves and Spotlight Ambrose. I really wish Mattel would accept returns on figures that are collecting dust at stores I'd send all those back to distribution center if I could. |

I appreciate Mattel helping me out with these last two waves. It was going to be hard justifying getting into Storm Collectibles Street Fighter and more SH Figuarts Star Wars figures. This Flashback strike is definitely allowing me to explore new lines. Good for y'all who wanted all modern guys I guess. Storm Collectibles Street Fighter is my one splurge item I'll continue to get. I got a standard Ryu and the SDCC Hot Ryu and they are so awesome. You won't be disappointed that you started. |

wish they had flashbacks on this wave, but i understand why they don't wanna push them out as much anymore because they always end up on sale. Will pick up everything except Swann and cena. hopefully the Usos have their updated look.
