Upon listening to that bit of the podcast, basically Orton was complaining about how his body changes whether he’s been on tour overseas or away for 2 months and hates having to maintain his body for committing to his trunks look for 15 years. Edge stated that Bret Hart had it figured out so he could’ve wore a singlet and tights his whole career and then Orton made his comment about Owens which came off more envious than anything lol. He did say there’s a lot of fat shaming going on in the locker room but in a light-hearted way. Was going to post this. The topic poster here didn't provide the proper context and is trying to make Orton look like a dick. He wasn't trying to insult him or "Shame" him But I AM shaming the topic creator for not using the proper context from a podcast. He probably heard it and thought, "OH MAN LOOK AT THIS DRAMA I GOTTA GO POST ON WF AND REDDIT ABOUT THIS OH BOY I WONDER HOW MANY UPVOTES I'LL GET, WAIT TIL I TELL TANNER AND THE BOYS AT SCHOOL TOMORROW!" Listen dude I listened to the podcast and the tone that Orton made those comments seemed like a backhanded compliment, not envious. He said "he's playing a fatguy who can fight, bless his heart." When he said that it seemed to undermine Owen's gimmick and persona. Go listen to the source before you throw stones. I even shared the link to see the transcript if you don't care to listen to the podcast.

"Body Shames"... what is he, an innocent little girl? Lol.
Owens craps on Orton in pretty much every capacity. He's a better wrestler, a better talker and infinitely more entertaining than Orton has ever been.
If Owens was a jacked up guy, his character of being "an every day guy who beats people up for his family" wouldn't work. He's a despicable heel. If he looked like a bodybuilder, it just wouldn't work.
I wish these wrestlers would understand that every wrestler has a role. You'd think Orton would know that, being in the business for so long.
Yes. Owens is fat... who cares? That's who he is.

Meh. At least Owens can lift a full bag of garbage out of a trash can & not dislocate his shoulder doing so.

Kevin's getting over as the fat guy that can fight, Orton's getting over as the guy with crap tattoo's who can put the entire audience to sleep with 1 single sleeper hold.
Orton comes across as quite sour sometimes, maybe its because he's done nothing of significance since loosing the championship unification match against Cena.

It's not really the opposite because it's not a compliment. It's a half-joke about being jealous he can't be fat and out of shape. It's still a cheap dig. It's like saying, "He's fat and out of shape, BUT he's making it work for him." What part of that was a compliment? I don't think Randy really meant anything by it and I'm sure Owens doesn't care, but lets not pretend this was some kind of compliment. "Bless his heart, that's great. I'm jealous." Typically people don't say "bless him/her" in a negative way, but in an affectionate way. If it was missing the "bless his heart", then it would be more open to a negative interpretation. Actually when people say "bless his heart" they mean it in a negative way. It's like a passive-aggressive way of saying something sucks. Sort of like "he's dumb as a box of rocks, bless his heart". Totally not a compliment.

Well, it must have a completely different usage in the US than it does in the UK then. In the UK, if someone says "bless him/her", they're typically using it in an affectionate way.

Bless the heart of the person who could stay awake long enough on an Orton podcast to hear this!

Orton wasn't dissing Owens at all.
He was pretty much envious that Owens can eat what he wants, and put on a t-shirt and basketball shorts and go wrestle. Where as Orton - who is 37 years old now - has to eat properly and hit the gym even more now to be able to keep his body how it looks because he wears trunks.
But I know, people are quick to turn everything that is said online into a negative.

When I look at Owens I see an intimidating guy who could destroy you. Why did Orton even feel the need to bring his weight up? It doesn't matter what you look like aslong as you get the job done. My thoughts exactly

Bless him/her or God Bless him/her is still the same, but "bless his/her heart" usually means they're trying to frame something bad in a nice way. It's more common in the south. Like franchise said, it'll usually be phrased like "He's dumb as a box of rock, bless his heart, but he's a sweet boy."

I see a lot of Owens is this intimidating destroyer dude but tbh when I see him he looks like some dude. Most of the crowd looks like him. That's his whole thing but I jut don't see him as this menacing figure.

Don't mind me, I'm just sitting here having the exact same build as Kevin Owens. And I am sitting here in tiny black trunks and boots like Orton, and.... oh wait, that's not a flattering look for me. I don't have the body of Orton at all!!

It's weird, I see that when I look at Samoa Joe. Just a bad MFer that looks like he would mess you up regardless of what his build is. When I look at Owens, just because of how he looks with his gear maybe, I see a guy that would get into fights at a bar. Both work but I wouldn't say Owens is a particularly intimidating guy.
