Hey Guys and Gals!

I started work 10/12/17 on my custom entrance stage. I am referencing the current entrance for NXT as inspiration - so I am going for a big screen with a rectangle stage and entrance from either side.

I don't have a ton of tools around, so I am reinforcing cardboard. Then painting with Plasti-dip to give it some more weight and toughness.

here are the big plans for the final product:
Screen - 23in LCD Monitor
Media Playback - Roku 3 with files loaded on USB
Stage - Black Plasti-dip base - with Glossifier finish
Ramp - Grey Plati-dip with metalizer finish
Lighting - AppLights Bluetooth controlled spotlights and basic bulbs

Couple of test shots first with the basic layout:

As I do more work, I'll keep it updated - appreciate any feedback or advice!

10/13/17 Update:

First coats of plasti-dip on the stage and ramp.
I will be laying a full sheet of tape on the items before the next coat to even out the edges and give a smoother finish - should be doing this saturday

Test curtains are up, used straws to test weight support, looks..ok I guess. I fastened them to the monitor for now.

I want to get a vending machine, with fun sized candy bars, and the glass in front is a magnifying glass. You'll be mad, but it will be too late.

Update 3!

TLDR: Youtube video on bottom lol

So I hated how the stage and ramp looked - I decided to wrap the cardboard in packing tape and then plasti-dip again. Needs more cleanup but they look WAY better. Below are 2 clean shots for material, and then some poses.
Also I hooked up a few of my lights just to test them, so far I am happy with the results.
I ripped down the curtains... need a new plan for backing and entrance.
