The WWE.com gallery mentions a new "Hall of Champions" Elite line exclusive to Target. Is this unofficial confirmation that the HOF line is dead?! If so great news IMO as Target's distribution was/is horrible and is definitely a factor in the downfall of this line. On the positive side, looks like Walmart has added a new line with legends figure- unless those reveals we saw are for the TNF line?! Sounds like it might be more of a rebrand for the HOF line. I think they were quickly getting to the point where there were only so many figures that could be made without repeating wrestlers. As excited as I am for legends-focused lines, I'd hate to see TNF go away. It's probably my favorite line out right now. Not totally out of the question, since Target has two exclusive series with HOF/HOC and NXT.

When it comes to "First time in the Line" guys from the past, the only new names I see are the Fink and Wendy Richter, as we already knew about mean gene a while back. Hope they are not done showing new stuff yet. Yes, this is a bit disappointing. From what we know, Greg Valentine, Billy Graham, Bob Backlund, Sensational Sherri, Mr. Fuji & Gorilla Monsoon are (or were) under a legends contract and thus Mattel is able to make figures of all of them.

This is what’s I’m hoping for, I hope walmart has a legends only basic and elite line. As a Canadian the hall of fame line was a pain in the ass to get.

Wait until the Q&A with Bill, as well as any reports from board members who got the chance to speak with him in person, before completely writing off the Hall of Fame series. The Legends/Flashbacks figures exclusive to Walmart may be separate from the TNF line. If they were TNF, I would think Mattel would want to label them as such for branding purposes.

Excellent showing so far. HBK RSC x2 for me! Hopefully they have defender cases for that box style by the time its ready to ship. Only disappointment for me so far is seeing so many Walmart exclusives that I want. The Walmarts around me suck.

Not totally out of the question, since Target has two exclusive series with HOF/HOC and NXT. I'm with you on that, the TNF line is great IMO. Its the perfect mix of old and new- a big thumbs up to whomever thought up the idea for this line. Also, Walmart has done a better job with distribution of this line, I have not had any problem finding figures from this set whenever I have made a trip across the border and WM here in Canada has FINALLY started carrying the elites- we missed out on Series 1 but they have carried both series 2 & 3 (hopefully this continues going forward). Target on the other hand, is a wasteland, barely any figures on the shelves (in general) and the only HOF stuff I have seen regularly at any of the stores I went to were the 2-packs. Do stores not get in many cases of the HOF series or are employees to blame for not re-stocking shelves on a regular basis?!

Heenan jacket would look better if it weren’t so baggy.

So does this mean that the Defining Moments line is being put to rest for a second time?
Entrance greats is not the the best replacement, as that music box eats in too the budget that should go to the accessories for the figure.
