-Seeing the up-close pics of Dude (and the back, which as the OWW HAVE MERCY slogan!) puts me at ease about him. I wish this was a DM so the tye dye could wrap around, but as a standard Elite, I'm impressed with all the detail put into him. I'm so happy to see another one of my major wants come to reality. We finally have the 3 Faces of Foley in Mattel form!

-Small touch, but the back of Virgil MOC has the blue curtain from the autograph signing, haha.

-Really cool to see that early WCW Eddie! I always loved that look on him.

-Great to see all this cloth. Rikishi having a full entrance robe was a nice surprise, Austin's SCU shirt being cloth makes it look fantastic, and then there's the inverse E15 Yoko with the checkerboard robe.

-I know it's mainly an issue of budget with the mold, but man...if they're doing Shark, they HAVE to release that Gooker showpiece at retail sometime.

-Sexual Chocolate Mark Henry looks okay, but that head isn't carrying a strong likeness. It resembles JYD a lot. Really wish this was NOD Mark so we could be that much closer to getting that faction completed (sans Owen). But Sexual Chocolate is definitely his most marketable look, I'd say.

-Bobby Heenan's cloth jacket has the red Heenan star on back! I'm happy with my HOF white suit version but this is a nice alternative.

-That new Ministry Undertaker head is phenomenal. Gotta wonder if a ponytail Big Show is on the way next.

-...why does Syxx not use the 123 Kid body? They made that just for him. The attire looks great, the 6-ball shirt is perfect, but the old torso and X-Pac head hold it back. I'm very happy they made Syxx, regardless.

-The freakin' SummerSlam sign has a hole behind it designated to make it fall off! This new attention to Botchamania detail is hilariously amazing!

-Speaking of...that Mean Gene is awesome. Very strong likeness, perfect accessories...I'm really glad the BAF set got discontinued because we get this instead.

-I know we've seen it already, by my god...that Nia Jax. Her head mold is like a DEAD RINGER likeness.

-Hardyz need a new pants mold. It's way too skinny, especially for Matt. The detail in that standard Elite Matt is really impressive, though.

-Bobby Roode using that torso is a nice change of pace. Also, him having the new NXT title here increases the odds the Entrance Greats one coming out next year will have the robe. Hopefully!

-Let's talk about that new Miz scan for a second. I'm legitimately asking this - was that supposed to be used in the Zombie line?

-New Day looks awesome in the neon green ice cream gear! I seriously hope Elites aren't far off, because those just pop off the shelf in the best of ways.

-I am super impressed with that Elite style Luke Gallows. The scan is perfect, and the blue squiggly lines on this entrance jacket make it look unique.

-THERE'S THE ELITE AJ THEY NEEDED TO MAKE. Great attire choice. Finally a new scan, and it looks dead-on. I absolutely hated his first Elite vest - it looks more like a long open shirt than a vest - but this one absolutely nailed it. Throw some kneepads on him and you have a definitive AJ Styles.

-I have so many mixed feelings on the EG Angle. It's a good attire, but the painted torso hurts it (less noticeable without flash, at least). Face has a good likeness, but the chin is huge. I'm glad he is using a torso that isn't the Mr. Perfect one, but he looks Ryback-levels of jacked. The medals have the green 'fabric' which is accurate, but the medals themselves are straight garbage. At $30, this is a pass.

-An improved version of E1 Jeff Hardy. It'll kill the bootleg market, which is a plus for Mattel. I wonder if he'll come with the shirt using the better material they use now?

-Speaking of, I really like the WM33 Jeff Hardy. Good likeness, and the multicolored curved strokes on his gear translate well to an action figure. Matt's silver attire has an insane amount of detail in it. Two really strong figures that should have no problem selling high volumes of.

-I have a huge issue with that Ted DiBiase in a green suit. It's the look I wanted to see him in...but think about it. Virgil's Elite has this shiny luster to it. Ted standing next to him in a flat green color without the sparkle his actual suit had...the servant looks better than the rich guy! They should've done this as the Elite and did Virgil as the Basic.

-Really happy to see that 3-pack find a home. Not sure if it's the same exact one or not, but regardless, we get Eddie tribute Sasha, Rated R Lita, and WENDI RICHTER! I specifically talked about Wendi only having an eraser "figure" from the LJN days in my 'Oldest Wrestling Figures' video, and now she has a bonafide real action figure after all this time. How cool is that!? Now, I wouldn't be surprised if we get an Alundra Blayze in the next year.

So much new stuff shown today. Definitely a nice reassurance for Flashback fans that things are still going forward with them. It looks like we may have a replacement for Hall of Fame that eliminates the annoying hindrance of old school guys having to be inducted in the HOF. Also, Walmart getting a FB Elite and Basic series? Things are actually looking pretty positive! All these deep cuts make the line fun to collect.

So are thigh cuts done for now on Basic women? If so I wont be buying any more basics. I can deal with the bicep move as its exactly the same just relocated but the lack of a thigh cut pretty much finishes me with women figures.

I think a lot of the "other brands" regulars have been lurking on here waiting for some Retro news.

We have some images a short while ago but no real confirmations. What are Mattel doing?

Man did they ever nail the hardys! I wonder is Sasha ever looks at the nia jax figures and says WTF!?!?

The good:
Loving that we're getting WCW Eddie, Dude Love, Heenan with a cloth jacket, Shark, Mean Gene, M$M in a suit, Fink, and heel Slaughter

The meh:
-I'm even less sold on $30 Angle after seeing these pics
-I'm hoping the Sexual Chocolate head looks better in-hand
-I wish the flashback Hardyz were as good as the modern ones


So, we're getting modern Hardyz as the Epic Moments set, and we're getting basically a re-release of E1 Jeff as an EG, but where are the two FB Hardyz winding up? Is that a 2-pack? Future Elites? 

As much as a i like that shark figure (im really excited for it, i agree, if we can get 3 fred ottmans and 3 john tentas (no disrespect to them) than we can 100% get greg valentine, haku and the others you mentioned, and you forgot hercules, like i still don't know how we have not even gotten one (JUST ONE!!!) Greg Valentine

Thank you Mattel, my number one ladies wrestler figure want. The iconic blue one pieces, so great. Everything else is just gravy.
