Well I'm disappointed about the lack of Elite Surfer Sting figures in 2018. I hoping he'd be the one coming with the wCw championship. Maybe we're getting a Ron Simmons?
But I liked just about everything else about the Q & A.
Glad to have Tom back. Makes life feel... complete.
Intrigued about them improving their face scan procedure.
Bet the mystery figure is Pete Rose or Bob Uecker.

I enjoyed the Q&A this year. It's always a pleasure to hear Bill's perspective on things, and Tom was a welcome sight as interview extraordinaire.
Tom reminded me of Rick Sanchez so much throughout the video that I couldn't help but love it. He and Bill together have wonderfully clumsy ways about them, but it adds to their charm. Never change.

I was hoping to hear if TNF and HOF lines would be continuing or if they are being replaced by the new lines. No Elite Surfer Sting in 18 sucks. But if we get a really awesome one with a cloth entrance jacket in 19 I'll be OK with that!
For the mysterious build a figure? I'm guessing Mike Mcguirk!

MattelDesignTeamCan we please get some clarification on the Retro line? Is this ‘Series 3’ that RSC has now? Only 4 figures? Or 6 like the others? Is it supposed to be available at all retail outlets (not just Wal Mart). Other series coming? When? Exclusive’s? We went from the SDCC interview acting as if they were the hottest line out there, to no showing at RSF and no real answers in the Q & A

Pretty good Q&A. Very glad to hear that Warrior is a great seller and it was an massive over ordering issue. Hope we see lots more Warriors in Elite going forward.
Disappointed to hear that no Goldberg “planned” in 2018, but my gut tells me he will show up unannounced, and honestly more power to Mattel. They have been very honest that he is packed with the ring to sell lots of them. And it’s working, I am going to pull the trigger on my next order.
No Surfer Sting in 2018 sucks.

Goldberg is planned, of course he is. Don't be naive to think that one of the biggest names in wrestling history isn't getting any more figures.
Very clever of Bill to say it's not planned, it will make people panic buy the ring. There will be Goldbergs... and plenty of them.

Gutted me with no Elite Surfer Sting in 2018. Hopefully that changes and we see the one he wants to make in 2018 and not 2019. (Hopefully there'd be another in 2019) and here's hoping it is the Beach Blast '92 pink attire.  |

He didn't outright answer the question, but dances around it at about the 9:00 mark. My guess is HOF will continue on as Hall of Champions. TNF is probably being replaced with the all-legends Elite and baf basic. But I could also seem the keeping the name, reworking the packing, and just dropping the "now" figures. TNF is probably my favorite line in terms of branding and theme, so I hope it's not dead. |

This interview was a letdown for me due to lack of questions about these exclusive store lines. Bill was great, thank you for your time sir. The interviewer was good also. But I watched 30 minutes and was so excited to see this but the only thing I got from it all was no surfer stings and no goldbergs  |

So not much new about the Retro line except for the ring coming out in 2018 and potential tag teams that'll be separate? I'm good with that as long as this line continues to get figures out consistently, the more the merrier.

I would like to think that Bill was just saying that about no Goldberg’s in 2018 to sell more rings, but after what happened with Hollywood Hogan it could be another business move that seems smart, but ends up being a bad one in the long run. Unfortunately I’ve come by a few rings where the Goldberg figures were stolen from them, so this could be an issue with the rings selling if this continues to happen. Of course Bill may know something we don’t know, like Goldberg may be under a legends contract for two years or something like that. Which if that’s the case it is a smart business move to hold off. If not this could be a bad idea if it’s our only chance at a WCW Goldberg.

I have no desire for Oldberg so there's no way Ill be paying $100 for a crappy ring just to get him. I understand Mattel wanting to sell the ring but not releasing a singles Flashback Goldberg is just dumb.
