The Maharajaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Jinder Mahal knowing his response to Brock I can see him somehow showing up on RAW to attack Brock leading up to Survivor Series

i loved the ending to RAW so much. one of the biggest complaints we all have is that nothing "means anything" nowadays. the WWE's severe lack of restraint on everything gives us first time ever matches on random RAW's or PPVs. they are constantly blowing off feuds and big matches for no reason whatsoever like cage matches on RAW because Roman Reigns.
for years Survivor Series has just been a filler PPV. we're lucky to even get a 5 on 5 match still.
what the WWE did last night was actually make Survivor Series seem like an IMPORTANT PPV. They've teased the whole RAW vs SD thing for awhile but nobody really took it serious. Now all of a sudden it actually matters to these guys. They want to prove who is the better brand. Is it silly? maybe so, because its still the same company and we all know that. But it's also true that for everyone who's like "RAW is the best, SD isn't that good" there's another guy with the opposite thought. Now the storyline progresses into something serious, something unexpected....and over the next few weeks they can focus on building to the PPV which is what they are SUPPOSED to do leading up to PPVs.
Enemies uniting against a common enemy. It's not like the WWE never tows the line between face/heel anyway. We just had a face vs face match at the PPV that got a "this is awesome" chant before it even started.
My thing about the conclusion last night was that it was UNEXPECTED. And in the world of spoilers and constant predictability I like seeing something happen that makes me go "oh shit, i didnt see that coming!" And now I want to see what happens on SD tonight.....and I'm looking forward to the brand vs brand matches at Survivor Series.....because they will be something DIFFERENT

What would have been even more unexpected is if the Smackdown contingent actually beat down Kurt Angle too and left him laying or Jinder Mahal the WWE Champion showed up on Brock's turf and attacked him

I'm very surprised the show wasn't sold out last night, small arena and Brock on the card. Dire times for the company I guess.

The siege reminds me of 2005

The only thing that bothered me about last night was Shane and Angle looking like shells of their former selves. Did Angle always walk that hunched over and stiff? Did Shane always talk that monotone and simplistic? "Under Siege" "Blue team. Go get em." That was the least charismatic he's been ever.

Yeah I think obviously because Shane is still recovering from Hell in a Cell but also Angle was in a TLC match the night before what do you want out of them

Does anyone else block out everything but the actual in ring action when watching WWE? The storylines are so effing stupid and repetitive that I cant suspend my disbelief. I only care about the wrestling.

Alexa looked great as always but I am sick of her being laid out and Mickie standing tall. Let Alexa stand tall for once.

also Alicia's cool but no way should she be captain of RAW's Women's team for Survivor Series. Why they are insisting on Burying Sasha and Bayley is beyond me.

I like the Survivor Series concept and I'm looking forward to the match but it's a bit stupid how people's character's change for a month. The likes of nakamura, Becky and Dillinger etc. would never be part of an assault but because it's 'brand warfare' it's OK? I'm sure the match itself will be fine but I think they could do the Raw vs SD aspects better.

I only care about the wrestling. I had a friend who liked the WWE, but told me he didn't like the actual wrestling, only the storylines. For me, I liked a combination of both. But I really liked Alicia Fox winning, the 10 man cruiserweight match was a lot of fun, and the Smackdown invasion was awesome, so I really liked RAW, even though many online seem sour about it.

I wouldn't read too much into Alicia getting the Team Captain spot. It means little to nothing, but is a way to give Alicia back some credibility after being a jobber for the last 7+ years, as well as advance the Sasha/Bayley storyline. Her character is absolutely awful and her new shirt is even worse. The only other woman on the roster with less marketability is Nia Jax. They have a good thing going with Emma, but Nia Jax, Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox are complete dumpster fires. Replace them with Piper Niven, Nikki Cross and Ember Moon and you'd have a killer RAW Women's Division.

The end of Raw was incredible to watch. Scenes! That's the kind of thing I miss in WWE. Proper backstage carnage.

People are reading way too far into the invasion. Survivor Series has always been about bragging rights for the brands to fight over ever since the brand wars started. Doesnt matter who you think is a face or a heel. Its team vs team. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. They might fight amongst themselves bc its their job but at the end of the day theyre still team blue. Some of you are such marks. That argument makes no sense at all. Why are they team blue? A handful of these guys and girls were on Raw not even six months ago. Guys like Baron Corbin regularly talk about the fact that they dislike Smackdown's authority figures, don't care about the locker room, don't care about the show, etc. Yet, there he is, cheerleader for some illogical turf war. Just the night before, AJ Styles wrestled a competitive match with Finn Balor, too Sweet-ed him post-match. Then, teamed with the Shield on Raw and hugged and celebrated with them after the match. Then attacked them with his gang of Smackdown friends because wearing a blue shirt superseded his respect for them. There's absolutely no individual identity between Raw and Smackdown. They're the same show with the same look, the same feel, and the same old man calling the shots backstage. They even share a commentary team now. The fundamental difference is that one is colored red and the other blue, and WWE is asking people to buy into the idea that these guys who, for all intents and purposes, are friendly eleven months out of the year are suddenly in a blood feud over nothing. There's nothing at stake, no advantage to be had, nothing. The night after Survivor Series, they'll never even make a passing mention about brand supremacy again until next year's Survivor Series. The issue is not that babyfaces and heels are banding together for a greater cause. That can work under the right circumstances. The issue is that there's absolutely no reason for them to band together, other than Shane McMahon telling them to take up arms. You know what that makes them? Corporate puppets. It undermines not only their characters, but the entire outlaw spirit that made pro wrestling boom during the attitude era. That's why I find so funny that people are likening this to an angle from that time period (because chaos!) when it's actually the exact opposite. The very idea that any of these wrestlers would give a crap what show they're on is ridiculously stupid. Of all the terrible and illogical angles that I've seen people defend on here over the years, this one is truly the most shocking. People claim to want concise storylines that don't insult their intelligence (and actively complain about it on the regular), but are willing to throw that ideal out the window the second they see a chaotic scene because it's "different."
