Honestly growing up during the New Generation Era and the Attitude Era I would have to say hands down the Attitude Era. The Attitude Era was hands down the greatest wrestling era in wrestling's history and why? Not only did you have the Monday Night War with WWE and WCW going at it in the ratings but also you had WWE superstars jumping ship to WCW and WCW superstars jumping ship to WWE. ECW was also more or less involved in the Monday Night War but were more or less in the background but the 2 big companies at the time were WWE and WCW. Growing up during this era it was just a great time to be a wrestling fan and no era has ever come close to the Attitude Era. No era ever will come close to the Attitude Era ever again. WWE had the best roster of guys that being Austin, Rock, Taker, HHH, Angle, Kane, Jericho, Show, etc. but WCW had the nWo, nWo Wolfpac, the Four Horsemen and stars like Sting and Luger. However, I was more invested in WWE at the time.

The PG Era. Guest hosts and heel Michael Cole. Best time ever.

If you ask a guy who grew up watching the golden era, he'll say it was the best. If you ask a guy who grew up watching the attitude era, he'll say it was the best.
Same goes for all the other eras. I started watching wrestling in the ruthless aggression era so that's my pick.

Next to Attitude Era I would have to say the New Generation Era from 1993 to 1996

But Ruthless Aggression you had Triple H's reign of terror which I hated most about the Ruthless Aggression Era but I won't even lie I actually liked Evolution as a stable

Honestly, I cannot say I have a preference for any one era over another. They all have their pros and cons, which make every era more or less equal in my view.
In the Golden Era, you had vivid, colourful characters that made it exciting, but the matches themselves were usually quite dull, and the technology of the time means it has not aged well.
In the Attitude Era, you had less vivid and colourful characters, but you had some truly great angles. However at the same time, you had some of the worst moments in wrestling history.
In the Reality era, you have almost no vivid and colourful characters. Everyone is basically just a regular person who can wrestle. However, you have the most exciting matches of any era, and all the brilliant technology of the time (even despite the boneheaded choice to step backwards with the loss of pyro).
It all balances out in my view.

Realistically the Monday Night Wars. Wrestling was never as huge or hyped during period. You had 2 dominant promotions in a rating battle and they give us good along with bad but it always be remembered.
I honestly don't think wrestling will ever reach that level again.

I started watching wrestling in the ruthless aggression era so that's my pick. This is true for the most part. I grew up watching the golden era and 89 - 92 is my favourite (closely followed by the Monday night wars and 2002)

I’ve been watching Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment since 1989. My favorite WWE “Era” was from 2002 – 2010. I call it the “Nameplate” Era, because of every Championship Title Belt having a nameplate. It’s basically the Ruthless Aggress to about halfway through the PG Era.

The Golden Era was the best for making wrestling superstars seem bigger than life.
The New Generation Era was my personal favourite just because I watched it so religiously then.
The Attitude Era was best for shock value.
The Ruthless Aggression Era was best for the wrestling part of it.

Nothing will ever compare to 97-99 when it was 8pm and you turned on Nitro on TNT and then 9pm Raw Started. Everyone watched! The talent during those periods were a who's who

I started watching as an 8 year old with WM4. But The Attitude era really struck a chord with me & continues to do so.....Austin is my guy. That will never change and I love watching him in action from 97-99. Rock was also fantastic when Austin left and HHH grew into a magnificent heel.
For me there's just something about that time.....I loved tuning into both broadcasts every week.

Having started in the Golden Era and still watching, all eras are fun to watch and have their high and low points but as someone that has multiple eras to look back on that also lived those eras...Golden Era is easily the best. New Generation & Attitude era were fun but looking back on them as an adult, they're corny as hell.

Attitude Era by far for me because I grew up during that era and also seeing the Monday Night War experiencing it as a fan like there is just something about that time that made it so great to be a fan
Watched WWF religiously through that time and watched WCW Nitro as well but was more invested in WWF even though I was an nWo black and white fan but also a Wolfpac fan too
But New Generation Era I grew up through as well and the only superstars of that era that I loved were Bret, Shawn, Taker, Sid, Vader and Mankind

Hmmm, very hard question to answer, but honestly I have to say New Generation was when I had the most fun, 94-97 during this time I was in high school and there was a group of us who were really close, like 5 of us who were super into wrestling and each of us had our own favorite. So it was a real social thing for me to be a wrestling fan during this time. While I loved the Attitude Era, I kind of drifted away from my high school buddies during this time so wrestling became more of a solo thing for me.
In terms of pure fun though, New Generation is my favorite era. I watched RAW every week and loved it!
