Well the news over the weekend points to Hogan quite possibly making a WWE comeback at Raw 25 in January, I'd imagine Mattel will get back to production on his Hollywood fig from 2015 right away.
The question, what do they add now that they've had time to think about it? Bigger 80's torso? Cloth goods?
What do you guys think?

Haven't heard the news but even if true, it doesn't mean he signed a legends deal. But assuming he does sign and we eventually get a Hollywood figure, he would be getting less and not more since DMs are in hiatus.

Entrance greats line with the stand and everything we saw from the mockup hopefully with different torso.

Yeah several online sites have stated the two parties have been in talks, and Hogan left some pretty open comments on his twitter about striking a big business deal and "taking another lap around again." I'd imagine they go entrance greats with the figure. Having a DX theme would be Too Sweet!

Getting Hulk Hogan WWE Mattel figures aren't a priority in my life at all.
With that being said...(if) a deal is done Mattel should kick it into high gear as soon as that ink is dry on that contract.

That figure didn't impress me too much. It looked like a lazy effort which is sad since that was such an anticipated release.
If it happens, Mattel might want to go back to the drawing board on that one seeing as how the Storm Collectables figure knocked it out of the park in terms of detail and accessories.

Yeah NWO, don't know why I wrote DX, but we need that one too. A Hulk still rules RA fig would come with real American tho.

I guarantee if the figure does see the light of day it won’t have a bigger torso. It will be the exact figure we seen at SDCC that year. Mattel will just be happy to get the figure out. I highly doubt there will be any updates.

MDT won't be able to do anything until the contract is finalized. Any return will definitely include a merch deal - Hogan is still a huge cash cow. I assume EG would make the most sense, and hopefully would fit in the line's budget. The digital render originally shown didn't have any softgoods or new sculpting aside from the head from what I could tell, so I could see it fitting in the budget for the line.

Elite 34 Hogan Torso and Undertaker sized legs and trunks would be so much better.
That damn sheamus torso doesnt do hogan justice even at his smallest.
Cant wait for a Hollywood Hogan

Lol Well there has been tweets this week from Hulk himself, though mostly innuendo, and Mene Gene said on a recent podcast a return was eminent as well.

There have been so many articles about Hogan rekindling his relationship with the WWE in the past couple of years. Take this as a grain of salt. We can all hope though, right?
