hof 5 piper ring attire date?

Late 80s? he wore it alot.

Personally, this is the reason I like the figure so much. It pretty much works for any Piper era in the WWF from 1987 until 1994.

It was pretty much his main look in the WWF. With the exception of the back of the knee pads not being white I see WM3 vs Adonis also.

It's WM3. At least I thought it was.

Unfortunately, they don't say on the back of the package. I would say it is between WM 5 and WM 6 when he returned from acting. Before that, 1986-1987, he wore the same attire but his hair was shorter. After WM 6, he started wearing other shirts or a jean jacket. At WM 8, he wore a black shirt not his traditional hot rod shirt. Pics below.

I am not sure it is from WM3, at WM3 he had white and blue knee pads, the HOF figure has just blue knee pads. Also, Piper, from time to time, would through his hands wide and shake his head while saying something, it wasn't just exclusive to WM3.

 

But, then again, it wouldn't be the first time Mattel didn't get the attire completely correct.
