this year I am going to get a camera for Christmas, but i'm having trouble deciding which one to go with, should I go with this: Sony Black DSC-H300/B Digital Camera with 20.1 Megapixels and 35x Optical Zoom or this: Canon Rebel XTi DSLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens (OLD MODEL)

out of either of those, which one should i go with to get the crispest, high-quality photos?

note: as I am going to use this for possible pic fedding and maybe some ACBA

It was a reliable camera.
