Hey. So we all know about the current rumour that Vince McMahon has lost faith in Finn Balor, believing that he is not "over enough" to face Brock Lesnar. For anyone that does not follow Finn Balor on Twitter, or just doesn't use Twitter at all, Finn has been showing how much of a genius he is. These are simply too good not to share: Here is a current WWE.com poll on who should be next to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal title: So there we go, Finn definitely deserves an award for sheer hilarity.

Twitter Finn, Twitter Orton, and Twitter Rusev are the best thing about WWE right now. And we don't even get to see them on-screen.
Also, 1% for Ambrose?! I want to move to another Universe.

But he's over enough to beat AJ that just faced Lesnar at SS lol.

I can see where Vince would say Finn isn’t over enough from a traditional view. Not that Finn isn’t a star, but he’s been booked to pretty much just be there since coming back. He’s just starting a feud with Joe and Royal Rumble is right around the corner. There isn’t really enough time to build up Finn really strong by Royal Rumble.
However, everything is rushed these days so they might as well do a rushed build just for the sake of giving us a fresh match.

I mean we saw it and it sucked. Can't blame people for not wanting a round two. I think Balor is a mega star. Women want him, kids cheer him, and guys want to be him. He's the ing James Dean of WWE. And every once in awhile he turns into the Venom of the WWE. I can't even properly verbalize how stupid I think all of this not over enough (or big enough for those of you who still think wrestling is real...) stuff is with him.

To be fair, one of the reasons it sucked was because Brock refused to do anything that would potentially injure him due to the upcoming UFC fight. That doesn't appear to be an issue anymore. ... Of course, I should probably admit, I was thinking in more of a general sense of getting a title shot and forgot Brock was champion.

I honestly don't get why people want this match. What would Balor gain from facing Lesnar?

I don't get why Balor wants the match anyway. Lesnar is just being fed people to kill time until he drops the belt to Reigns at WM......even if he gets some offense in like AJ, it's still going to be a loss for Balor.
If I was Finn, I'd be more hoping that a rumored Superstar shakeup takes me over to Smackdown where if Jinder Mahal can become WWE Champion, the grass may be greener on the blue brand.

I have no interest in Balor vs Lesnar. Brock isn't losing that title until WrestleMania, and that will be to the Big Dog. Add that to the fact that I honestly see nothing special about Balor at all, his matches never seem very good to me (keep in mind I only watch WWE, no NXT, or anything else). Not very smart of Balor to mock Vince on Twitter though if those rumors are true (which I doubt the rumors are true).

I honestly don't get why people want this match. What would Balor gain from facing Lesnar? Remember when AJ was set to face Roman for the WWE title in 2016? Remember when fans were pretty much sure AJ was going to be fed to Reigns? Remember when they were pretty much right? Well AJ brought out the best matches in Roman and got "rewarded" with Vince McMahon's approval so to speak. Same goes here. Not everyone gets to work with the biggest name in wrestling right now.Facing Lesnar is basically Vince saying he believes in you so don't drop the ball. The problem is momentum. Finn hasn't had any at any point since coming back from injury. One big feud (Wyatt?!?) and it's been meaningless matches. I feel like they are going the route that they were trying to go wtih AJ Styles but with Finn.If you recall, before Cena's feud with AJ, AJ's storyline not winning big matches after he dropped the Good Brothers. I vividly recall AJ sitting on the ramp looking distraught after losing on Smackdown. I truly beleive Cena's return forced them to rush the angle. Now, Finn is in the midst of a losing streak, so maybe they are looking to take what was going to happen with AJ and flesh it out more for Finn?

Finn isn't nearly as good as AJ. Pass.

As good as Finn is, unfortunately he doesn't fit Vince's mould as a top main eventer.
I.e. tall, muscly, oozing physicality etc. It will take a huge fan movement to make Vince change his mind, like what happened with Daniel Bryan and ultimately AJ Styles (due to the reactions they would receive wherever they went).
Does anyone know if Finn is a merchandise shifter? That's the other thing that tends to make Vinny Mac take notice.

Getting tossed around the ring with endless suplexes or feuding with and possibly defeating Wyatt or Kane? So, being in a main event championship match at one of the biggest shows of the year, or possibly defeating Kane or Wyatt (like every other person on the roster) in a meaningless mid-card feud? I'll stick with eating the suplexes.

Maybe it's just me but, if Balor isn't "over", that's on Vince.
If ya don't think he's over with the fans, give them a reason to be more invested in him. Having him win or lose a match is not enough. Having him occasionally paint his face is not enough. Give him a chance to showcase his personality. Give him a chance to show the fans what motivates him. Let him show what kind of a man he is.
Or... turn him heel and let him be a son of a bitch. Give them a reason to hate him. Seems simple enough.

I feel if he didn't have the Demon gimmick, he'd be back with the boys in BC.
