Edge has a torn pectoral muscle from taking a bad bump during the Mardi Gras angle on the Smackdown show that aired on Friday. He is expected to miss some time. The plan had been to keep him as the top star on SD! for the time being so he is a little ticked off that the injury came now.
The plan was for a Battle Royal to determine the new champion. The winner of the Battle Royal will make their first title defense on Sunday's Great American Bash in San Jose.
This could always change as they are writing SD! as we speak.

I say have HHH return tonight and win it. Mysterio or even Kennedy. Could be an angle with Kennedy similaer with Edge IMO!

Bring Triple H back. Thats the only thing that will save SD at this point. I think the best thing to do is at least keep Edge on Camera. Even if he cant wrestle, he can still do his Cutting Edge and at least stay on SD doing segments and what not until he can get back in the ring.
