Hey all,
I just received the TJP figure yesterday and I have to say I greatly dislike the newer arm/shoulder mold. It makes it extremely difficult for playability and awkward for pose ability. Is there a way that this could please be changed back to the normal mold?
I understand the cost cutting measures but this is kind of ridiculous. I don't mind the lack of ankle movement. That is easily unnoticeable. But the shoulder arm joint is awful. I will be cutting down on Basic purchases due to this.
Please let me know and Mattel know what the rest of the WF Universe thinks!!!

It makes it extremely difficult for playability and awkward for pose ability. What exactly makes it extremely difficult and what poses are awkward to make? Do you have photos you can show? Every photo comparison I see has been nearly identical.

I like the newer arms better. I wish they would put the new arms and ankles on Elites. I don't get one Elite figure that doesn't have a loose ankle or bicep swivel, so I would prefer to just eliminate those joints all together. Plus, having the arm/shoulder be one solid piece adds to the realism. It just looks better in my opinion.
The new arms really don't cause any lack of play-ability in my opinion anyway. You are just swiveling a the elbow instead of the bicep.

We're action figure fans, not a universe.

Nothing irks me more than a figure that falls over on my shelf when a fly farts and knocks over 4 other figures with it.

Can the basic still dab? This is a deal-breaker for me.

I’ve yet to see these new Basic arms in person, but Basics are only good for heads and a few part swaps anyway.

I sort my shelves by era and certain eras I don't have enough guys to warrant a second shelf for, but I have enough figures that it's almost a little crowded so stands won't fit. Plus, I hate the thought of spending money on stands. It's like when I collected sports cards... hated having to buy cases when I could spend the money on more cards.

The majority of us seem to be against the move. Maybe people power can work?

They suck.
All these cut backs are for shame! From the arms and leg changes to the discontinuation of the pins used for wrists. Clearly Mattel is not following the logic "If it is not broken, do not fix it"

I prefer the ankles I wish they would do them that way on the elites. It would eliminate the common loose problem and the warped feet pieces that make it look like one leg is longer than the other. The arms look more realistic this way but I don't like them. Not being able to part swap easily is pretty beat. I will still purchase basics just not that many. Out of series 77 to 81 I just got Graves and will be getting Rhyno.

Clearly Mattel is not following the logic "If it is not broken, do not fix it"But maybe to Mattel it was broken? I'm almost certain no one on this board can speak on the financial state of Mattel's WWE line. For all we know, the budget was broken and this was their way of fixing it. But I get what you are saying.
In the regards to the arms, I recently received the basic Corey Graves and the arms don't bother me much at all. I don't play with my figures so that may be the difference, but on display, I like the look of them.

Simple, dont buy them. Thats the only voice you have as a customer. I dodnt care about the basic switch because I only use them for parts. However they changed the basic line women as well and thus I wont buy another one.

They ain't returning back to the old designs. Either learn to accept the changes or stop buying them. Point blank. Not trying to judge but all the complaints about playability are coming from adults (I think. Cannot tell on here sometimes.). Kids probably don't notice any change or care.
