Facebook and WWE today announced a new in-ring series, Mixed Match Challenge, that will stream live in the U.S. exclusively on Facebook on Tuesday nights beginning Jan.16 at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT. The 12-episode series will air on Facebook Watch and feature WWE Superstars from both the Raw and SmackDown LIVE rosters competing in a single-elimination mixed tag-team tournament to win $100,000 to support the charity of their choice. Each 20-minute episode will reflect a progressive approach to production, with elements optimized for mobile consumption, experimentation and social interaction, including the ability for the WWE Universe to engage with Superstars during the show. I like the concept...but why put it on Facebook? Why not put it on YouTube? I would watch this if it was on YouTube or the WWE Network, but I have zero interest in keeping up to date via Facebook.

These are the pairings I'd like to see, with explanation
SDL Bobby Roode and Charlotte - Just because of the robes. Plus Roode has drawn comparisons to members of the horsemen and Ric Flair. Rusev and Lana - Because they're married. Sami and Natalya - They're playing annoying heels. Jimmy and Naomi - They're married, right? Or dating. Just leaves Becky and Shinksuke and Carmella. Depending on who the last male SDL competitor is, I may change, but I'd like to see Captain B with Shinsuke Nakamura. Carmella can team with Xavie or whomever from the New Day gets in.
As for Raw Braun and Alexa - Beauty and Beast pairing Honorable Mention: Alexa and Goldust - Only if Alexa paints like Goldust. Nia Jax and Enzo - Because we know these pairings aren't "voted" on despite the claims. So the forced pairing of Enzo and Nia makes sense. Goldust and Alicia Fox - Both are nutty so why not? Balor and Bayley - Both are Over. Yet both are handled horribly. Plus didn't they have a thing at NXT events? Asuka - Whomever is voted in Miz and Banks - Characters in theory are sort of the same. If they ever let Banks be the Boss she'd be the female version of Miz so to speak.

Yeeeeeah I'm not going to watch this on Facebook.
If it was on WWE Network, maybe. I pay 9.99 a month for WWE Network, put it on there. The picture quality would be way better than this Facebook streaming crap.
I don't like Facebook anyway.
This is probably just another failed WWE Social Media campaign. Anybody remember when we were told to TOUT every Monday? That died fast.

So you have a network for original content and you decide to air it on Facebook? WWE makes no sense... I don't have Facebook so I won't be tuning in.

This looks....
Weak.
What's the point of having your own network if you refuse to put new things on there that doesn't involve what kind of feet tattoos Fandango has?

Eh, not a fan of the concept. BTW I have heard that WWE were negotiating with Facebook and Youtube for content. If this were on the Network, id still more likely skip this.

Interesting concept. But I'm not crazy about having it on Facebook. Hopefully it will come on the network as well.

I read this on another site and died
"Asuka: "私は競争が欲しい、または私は救急車でここにすべての母親を家に送ります。 それはあなたが欲しいものですか?"
Braun: "She says, she wants competition. Or else.""

What's the point of having the brand extension anymore? They might as well end it and release 1/3 of the roster.
