Popped this in the other night since I haven't watched an Attitude Era PPV in awhile. This time period gets a lot criticism (with good reason) but man was it entertaining.
This event also has one of my favorite intros ever... You're driving me CRAZY!!!

I actually hated this event very much so!
Goldust vs. Blue Meanie to start the show didn't help much for me in liking this event.
Another Rock vs. Mankind match with a crap ending. The only thing that came out of this show was Big Show's debut and Austin beating the hell out of McMahon in the cage.

Attitude era matches weren't always that great tbh.
It was the storylines, creative and 'in your face' characters that really made things so damn entertaining. I really enjoyed the attitude years, so refreshing and full of surprises.
Guess we won't see any of that creative magic again till WWE gets some real competition.....

Everything about this time period was beyond exciting and awesome. There was bad stuff for sure but bad is better than boring. I remember counting down the hours to Raw every week.
I did enjoy the event but Goldust and Blue Meanie was a pretty lame match to start off with.

Its funny how when you watch old attitude era stuff a lot of time the there is some hard to watch bits. For me any attitude era is best in highlights or best of's as that way I can skip the Mark Henry/ MAe Young, kai en tai or blue meanie dross

I remember watching this and thinking how horrible Austin must have felt the day after he was thrown into the cage. Gimmicked or not, those metal bar cages were the worst.
I cringe every time I see Chyna ram the door into Mankind's head.

That was my first ever live show. It was a lot a fun. Cold day in Memphis. I sincerely miss wrestling shows at the Pyramid. By far the coolest arena.
