Man. I’ve got a gut feeling a lot of you are gonna be surely let down with the outcome of this women’s Rumble match.
I don’t get the high hopes or excitement for this especially when multiple women matches have been proven to be clusterf*cks in the past. I’m glad I know 5 and half weeks in advance though which match I can make food or have a smoke break through however lol

People seem to forget Asuka actually did lose a match in NXT. It was a battle royal for the No.1 contender for bayley which she was eliminated by Eva Marie and won by Carmella. So if she is eliminated in the rumble it won’t be her first lost
I can’t foresee anyone other than John Cena or Roman Reigns winning this. AJ/Cena seems likely because that’s a marquee match that’s Mania worthy, even though they’ve had a few matches. AJ is face now so that’ll throw a new wrinkle into it. Hopefully AJ gets the win. Who knows what Cenas got lined up in 2018.
As for AJs title match, maybe we get the AJ/Nakamura match here. Unfortunately, I don’t see Shinsuke in a prominent role at WrestleMania. Maybe an interpromotional match with Bálor.
Ok book it right now- ASUKA is winning the rumble. Quote me on it.
Why You ask?
Simple- if Asuka is in the rumble, and doesn't win, this means she loses, and her undefeated streak now has an asterisk attached to it.
Same logic as why raw won the women's survivor series match.
-Asuka wins the rumble-
That rule can be bent. Losing at the Rumble won't affect a streak as it's not a standard singles, multi person, or tag team match. It's like if you have a streak that you've never been pinned but you lost a match by DQ. You still have an on going streak of never being pinned.
Always my favourite event of the year, even if the last few winners have been crap. Hopefully this is the year to give it to someone who it could actually benefit from it instead of an already established main eventer/part timer.
