True. I’m hoping for some cool surprises, Legit surprises. Not like Trish or Lita but maybe Kharma or something
Meltzer has said NXT is being given 8-9 spots in the women's Rumble, and that there are only 2-3 spots for returning stars. I guess we could see the balance shift a little, but this sort of seems like the direction they're going in.
I suspect the idea is that you don't want to have a bunch of big returns for women and then get fans hopes up that something similar will occur in the men's Rumble later in the night.
I'd guess the most likely candidates are Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, and the Bellas.

When they showed yesterdays graphic of the Rumble Match I figured that there are still A LOT of empty places. With the other matches on the card being pretty crowded I'm interested in who they are gonna give the remaining spots to.

This has to be one of the least interesting Royal Rumble matches and cards in history. The two world title matches are lackluster at best and the only interesting match is the tag team bout between the Usos/Gable & Benjamin and having two Royal Rumble matches is over kill,I am happy the women finally have one but it should have been cut to 20 instead of 30.These two Rumble matches alone will take up over two hours. As far as the Rumble match itself really lacking star power and a interesting build.Last year we had the old timers in Taker,Goldberg,Brock...ect in it and build to the match, the year before Reigns defending the WWE Title in the match and so on.
With the current field the only sub storylines built at all are Hardy/Wyatt which has been extremely lame and now Cena/Elias.I am sure some other big names will be apart of the match come Sunday but a field of Cena,Orton,Reigns,Miz,Nakamura,Wyatt...ect doesn't really get me hyped.
