WWE love heel vs. face, especially at Pay-Per-Views... mainly WrestleMania. No chance we get Styles/Nakamura. Had to think about it for a bit but in the last ten years, we've gotten five face vs face main event / championship matches at Wrestlemania. Shawn Michaels vs John Cena (23) Batista vs Undertaker (23) Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker (26) Rock vs Cena (28 and 29)

Reigns wins the Rumble. Then wins the number of one contender elimination chamber. Then defeats both AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar in the same night to unify both titles in the greatest Wrestlemania moment of all time.

I do think the narrative towards the match pretty much writes itself as a face vs face. It would be so easy to pull off as a "secondary main event" and I want to see it so much

The idea of Finn winning and jumping SD is becoming more and more appealing. Finn’s been much better with The Club, and with the Bullet Club still pretty hot, a full-fledged showdown of the first two leaders portends good drama for die-hard fans.
Finn-AJ may be a better Wrestlemania match than Nakamura-AJ, for this year. We’ve seen AJ with the Club in WWE. Now Finn’s with the Club in WWE. However, we haven’t seen very much established between AJ and Nakamura in WWE yet.

I don't think anyone has asked the truly important question yet. What is the over/under on how many times we will be told that "The road to Wrestlemania starts tonight!"

If Vince wasn't busy with his announcement maybe he would read this and tell his inner circle "Goddamn pal this guy gave me a great idea, people will love it, and it will be the best ending ever seeing Roman with both belts being cheered by 70,000 people!"

AJ Styles vs Finn Balor would without a doubt be extremely more interesting of a programme than AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura, even if the latter would be an exceptional Match. The fact they've still kept AJ and Nakamura apart and blown their load on AJ vs Finn already makes me think the'll lean towards Nakamura. However, I really don't know what they have planned for Finn at Wrestlemania if he's not in the WWE Title Match, and with all the coverage Kenny Omega & The Bullet Club have gained over the past year and recently at Wrestle Kingdom, an AJ vs Finn feud might be their way of tapping into the 'smart fans' and saying 'Look, we can still out trump even an Indy's best big match and it doesn't even matter to us'. Either way, whether it's AJ Styles vs Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, or Daniel Bryan, I'm hoping they go with a Smackdown winner (and not Cena) for logics sake. The Lesnar vs Roman build needs to be short and sweet to prevent any chance of fans derailing his momentum and souring the feud. He has to win the Chamber. Strowman could still be a surprise winner if they want to go with a Triple Threat after not finding anything else for him to do at Mania, but I still think Reigns beating Lesnar clean one on one says more for him than toppling them both.

The top bets to win the Rumble are
1. Roman 2. Shinsuke 3. Cena 4. Strowman 5. Bálor 6. AJ 7. Owens
Sadly it’s gonna be none of those guys. All those people betting on Roman are about to lose hard lmao
People are also betting that Paige is gonna win the Women’s at #3... Some people just wanna throw their money away eh?

I feel the shows will split the Rumbles this year.
Asuka is my women's favorite going away from the Raw side, so the men's Royal Rumble would go to SD. Shinsuke is appealing, but my head leads me to Cena (who I'd guess would choose to face the WWE Champion with him being a free agent). Not convinced they're done with Jinder Mahal just yet. Orton's been booked like a favorite, but him winning last year hurts his chances in my mind. Corbin would be my dark horse from SD.
Of course if all our assumptions are correct and Roman wins the men's Rumble, there would be only one name I can see winning the women's Rumble and facing Charlotte: the debuting Rhonda Rousey.

Hey guys,
If anyone's interested in giving this a listen, my co-host Robert and I discuss Takeover and the Rumble and we give our predictions for each match.
We love interacting with other fans so I wanna get your feedback as well!

I wish they would Get rid of the elimination Ppv it is such a road bump just make it a normal ppv but only focus on the ic or is belt . Let the main title story build for two months...the way it is set up now one month of story sucks

I don’t really see how it’s not Reigns at this point. Betting is shifting into his favor. If we don’t see a change, that likely means smart money has come in and we more or less have our answer.
As nice as it is to think about Finn Balor winning, we have to remember that he’s a guy Vince didn’t even trust to put in the title match at the Royal Rumble, known for B-level title defenses.
As great of a story as Daniel Bryan would be, it seems likely that this was just fan wishful thinking and nothing more.
As much as people seem to want Nakamura, he’s not a guy that has any momentum going into the Rumble whatsoever. It just doesn’t seem feasible.
So that leaves “evergreen” winners like John Cena and Randy Orton. The latter seems unlikely, given that he won last year. Cena is a strong possibility.
But, at the end of the day, we know where the Mania main event is headed. Vince is going all the way with Roman, and at this point, I just don’t see him choosing any of the other options for the Rumble over him.

My pick would be Nakamura to win and face Styles. Then Reigns would win a number one contender's Elimination Chamber match to face Lesnar. Either way Reigns is headlining and winning yet another main event of WrestleMania and it's going to be received just as well as the last 3 were....

Hopefully Bobby Roode still gets to be in the Rumble match despite his pre-show booking.
And it would be fun if one of Impact's recently departed was in the Rumble.

It's still weird that there are like 13 open spots to fill... Even with all 3 members of the New Day in it it seems like they are having trouble to fill the field.

For the Women, I want Asuka to win it. I think if booked correctly she could be the biggest thing to happen to women's wrestling. But if I was going to put money down on it, much to my surprise, I gotta go with Becky Lynch. She's been under the radar for far too long. And a feud with her best friend Charlotte is exactly what the SD Women's division needs.
For the men, I know the smart money is on Roman. But as we saw last year, WWE knows how to use Roman to get someone else over in the RR. And Roman can get to where he's going without the win. So IMO it comes down to Nakamura or Balor. Nakamura has NO momentum at all. Which is what scares me. But a RR win and a few months between now and WM could change that.
I also think Balor has to be a option. His sudden alliance with the Good Brothers doesn't seem like a coincidence. We saw what Balor vs AJ could do with no build and no storyline. And I wouldn't be surprised if Vince was impressed with both men. So by having Balor win, and challenge AJ, it could set the wheels in motion for a Club vs AJ storyline. My money is on Balor.
