My son got the new AJ styles elite figure for Christmas and when we open them up his arm is very loose. Any suggestions about how to fix it my son got the new AJ styles elite figure for Christmas and we open them up his arm is very loose. Any suggestions about how to fix it? I’m a little leery about trying to swap out the torso since I haven’t done it before and it’s a new figure

Is it loose where the bicep swivel is? I know a lot of people put a bit of cotton in the peg hole to tighten it.

No it’s loose right where the arm connects to the torso

Isn’t there a mattel phone number you can call to let them know about the figure being messed up? I know this isn’t a ringside collectibles issue

I know this isn’t a ringside collectibles issue on the back of the box there should be a customer service number to call. You'll need to provide the info on the box. They will either replace it or send a voucher. Their customer service is top notch bro

Stick a rubber band that comes with the figur around the shoulder and push it into the arm socket. And it will tighten it. Personally I find the rubber bands they give for braces work the best.

I'm wowed by this. PJ, can you post pics of what this looks like? It just looks like a normal figure. You just wrap one of those clear rubber bands around the arm so it is tight. (That’s why I use one of those rubber bands you get when wearing braces) then just roll it up the arm over the shoulder into the shoulder socket. Once you push it over the shoulder it’ll drop inside the torso around the arm stem thus tightening the arm.

I’ve had a ton of bands left over from when I had braces and I’ve been doing this method for about a year. Definitely works the best!

PJ is right. I use the dentarum bands for braces and this trick works every time.
