The day Savage went to the neon cowboy look, was one of the darkest days in American history. Give me the 3 star trunks Savage any day.

The last Macho Man DVD that was released has a segment where they talk to the guy who made all his outfits, including the cowboy hats. Just watch that to find out the reason for the change. Which one is that? What’s the name of the dvd? Or you could just tell me

Listend to Pritchard’s podcast and it was because he just wanted to change things up and keep it interesting. The bandanna was to cover the bald spot, the crown was the next change to keep it covered, then the cowboy hat was just another variation to keep the bald spot covered.

I'll always prefer his 80s look with the trunks and robe but that being said I didn't mind the 90s cowboy look. DIG IT!!

Gotta say, cowboy was always my favorite look, but over the years I've grown more partial to the trunks. Honestly, besides it being a general style change, I kinda felt like maybe it was a way of covering up his legs. Not that they were bad, but they weren't super buff of ripped looking as he was slightly top heavy. They kinda just look like normal, somewhat athletic dude legs.
