I seen this posted on eBay a few weeks ago. www.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWEDm/itm/14-Vintage-WWF-Wrestling-Titan-Sports-Action-Figures-Full-Set-Hasbro-MOC-Hogan-/302592133283?hash=item4673e588a3%3Ag%3AUUsAAOSwpw1aUB07&nma=true&si=0Nvww9KzdkAEFKCktmeXOpKn%252Bt4%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Was this a deal? There are some good pieces here, but not $1,500 worth IMO I think it was a fair price, but a little higher than I would have paid for it. I probably would have paid no more than $1200 for that set - though, I would have tried to get it for under $1000 if the seller had a "make an offer" option. It is the complete Series 1 set with the summerslam series Bushwhackers, and the cards were all in pretty good condition, so I can see someone paying that much for it.

I really do not have any idea why. I never asked or mentioned ebay because I'd rather then not look. In the end I could send money and not even receive the figures so will see if I actually even receive them lol. Not to long ago. Oy 2 or 3 months back. I got series 1 Macho, warrior, akeem, rude, m$m, brutus. Hogan, ax smash all for under 300$ in great shape American cards. Im actually working a deal right now and this guy has a dusty Rhodes mint, and I feel bad but I talked him down from 300$ to 100$ and shipping. I know it's worth 700$ at this point but still, I can't blow money like that. And then I got another deal Going for about 40 English hasbros for around 600$ mainly red cards, some graded figures, legion of doom, purple cards, yellow cards sone series 1, the black and silver shawn, 4 razors. It's a great deal. I can't wait to get paid friday. Those sound like great deals, congrats on getting them Any idea why the sellers don’t go the eBay route? Even allowing for it being a bit more work and the fees involved, the prices they could get on there these days far exceed those deals.

I have to pay for dusty and most of that lot tomorrow. So will see if I really receive them. The guy with the lot sent me a lot of 9 already and they all came in perfect condition, so im.sure that will be good. The dusty Rhodes for 100$ will see if that actually shows up. Fingers crossed.

Still remember it like it was yesterday. My town had a store called Sernet's that went out of business. My mom got me Hulk Hogan series 1 and Macho Man series 1 for a $1.50 each and the ring for $8. It was my whole weeks allowance and no Friday night movie but well worth it. Still have everything, the ring box was the only box I ever saved. Really wish I would have saved all the figure card backs. Recently a friend of mine stopped at a shop in Sioux City, IA and got a Hulk and Jake series 1 for $5 each. They both were probably a 5-6/10 but for $5 can't complain. The best most recent deal I seen but forgot to bid on again was a MOC Owen Hart 7/10 scale that went for $75, wish I would have landed that one.

Best bargain for me was a MOC 1-2-3 Kid purchased from a seller in Austria in 2002, paid 15 Euros plus 2.50 Euro for the postage. This is before the days of PayPal, I sent him a 20 Euro note in the post and thought, wont see that again. To my surprise, 2 weeks later a package turns up with the near mint on card figure, and bless him 2.50 Euro change!
Also picked up the Smoking Gunns, both of them MOC, for £30. This was back in 2002 also.

I had a full brick & mortar KB, until it closed in 95. when it closed in 95, almost everything went to 30, then 50% off, including those 3/$10 WWF figures. So I was getting 3/$7, then 3/$5. I know that's where both Samu's I have, Scott Steiner, Skinner, El Matador, and white Shawn came from. I feel like I got others there too. Possibly Kona Crush. I know he came way after he was no longer Kona or even evil Crush. I know my mom got my Terry Funk LJN from that sale. The last figure they had there was a lone Smash, on a foreign card, and even at 3/$10 70% off, I couldn't convince my mom because I already had 3 Smashes, plus Ax.

I bought silver/black HBK and purple Razor for $1.99 each from a ShopKo who was clearing out their Hasbros. I already had red/white HBK and black/red Razor, but I figured for two bones each, why not?

Back when I was collecting hardcore between 2003 to 2008, I got some amazing deals on Hasbros back then. Mainly forign cards, but a few of the stand out deals that I remember are.
Hulk Hogan number 3. This was on a French card, but it was the most pristine moc Hasbro I ever had and I got it for the measly sum of £7 including postage.
Shawn Michaels Yellow Card: I got a steal on this because back in the day I would do Ebay searches with wrong spellings. So I would search for things like WF and WWWF and in this case it was Sean Michaels that found me this gem and I got it for a little over £13 including postage. I know £13 is not the cheapest, but at the time this was regularly going for £30 and more.
The Rockers: These were on a Spanish card and while the card was mint, it has a very slight bend to the side where the rea wrestling action section was. I got these for £1.99 and that is not a type or a lie, £1.99 and even to this day it is my best score. NOt just in wrestling figures, but toys in general.

Probably the famous KB Toys 3/$10 series 3 through yellow card figures back in the day. Good times! For some reason, up until that point, I hadn't seen any yellow card figures around. And WOW did I want Shawn & Razor! I think they & Owen were my first 3 from that set.
Not a MOC story, but I did also get 123 Kid & the Gunns loose from a garage sale for (I think) 50 cents each in 2000. It wasn't much more than that, either way.

You know what I would think you’re joking in today’s market but back 10 years back there was some awesome bargains to be had. Serious figures getting nothing. I paid £33 for a mint 123 kid MOC. Also I remember there being 92 WWF Hasbro figures listed on eBay probably the lowest ever. Today there’s thousands.
