Customers who try to haggle over prices in a restaurant. Wait, people do that? Yep. It used to happen at the pizzeria where I worked. They were usually out of towners. One woman said if we gave her a free dessert, she'd tell all her friends about our place. We didn't even sell desserts. One guy came in right before closing & tried to tell us he'd only pay half price for each slice "since we were just going to throw them away anyway". And then there's the douche who would say "I went to (one of numerous other pizzerias in the area) and they said they'll sell me a large pie for $8.00. Can you match that price or do better?" |

Nothing wrong with venting. It helps people get things off their chests. For instance, it pissed me off that while I was driving in to work this afternoon, despite the fact that it's rainy, foggy, overcast and gray, and slushy/icy due to the rain coming after a snowfall...there were dozens of cars that didn't have their headlights on. It pisses me off to no end how so many people don't take driving and safety precautions while driving seriously. Oh I  ing hate that. |

So I just started dating my girlfriend a couple weeks ago, and it turns out she hates wrestling , and even more so hates the fact that I still buy the figures, or as she lovingly calls them, "dolls", plus like when she comes over she really doesn't like them on display in front of the TV and stuff lol, constantly giving me crap about it
I like her a lot and we've really been clicking, and when she complains about that stuff it's usually in a joking way, I just hope she doesn't get too serious about the whole thing

Listen, it's not MY fault there's no room in the aisles at these conventions. All I wanted to do was buy a body pillow shaped like an anime girl...and...I think I've said too much. You don't have to share the same passions. Passions change. Twenty years ago I lived for wrestling, and now I barely watch it anymore. But, I will tell you this. If she hates and/or makes fun of the things that make you you, there's a-trouble brewing there. You need to discuss this with her. Hash it out and talk about it. |

The title of this thread, people using asterisks unnecessarily, commercials, not finding Elite figures in my store, wrong booking decisions made by WWE in the past (Vince winning the Rumble and the world title in 1999, for instance), some British wrestling company, lots of other stuff. And while we are on the subject of what pisses us off...its rather irritating that warning bars and post-deleting are being served up like hotcakes. All it takes is me getting annoyed with what you said and the admins will very quickly dole out a warning without getting both parties thoughts on the matter. I can still read anti Trump this and anti Trump that and how Macho Man doesn't have the correct colored underwear on his DM. Yet I call someone's opinion on something dumb and BOOM! goes the dynamite. I'm also convinced that one of the admins and a not so well-liked member here are one in the same. But that's a different story for a different time. |
