I know what Bandy is saying. When the Hart Foundation wrestled, you just waited for Anvil to make the tag. Smash was always the better Demolition. Booker outshined Stevie Ray.
But I never saw either Hawk or Animal as the "Other Guy". I think they were always both on a level playing field and that is one reason I think many consider them to be the best tag team ever.

The Bar is an odd one for this question. The Other Guy usually refers to a team that has been a team since the beginning of their careers, or at least early on in them. By the time The Bar was formed, that didn’t really apply to either guy. Sheamus has his main event run that ran out of steam and this is probably the final stretch of his career. Cesaro has had numerous singles pushed that don’t catch on and he always ends up back where he belongs, as a great tag team wrestler. I expect the end for them will be Sheamus retiring, and Cesaro having another failed solo run then forming a new tag team with someone.

Xavier Woods is the other guy, unless he is with Brad Maddox.
